A Bright Newly Refurbished Home with Private Pool in Rural Setting

We have just started renting out our home to guests and are very keen to make your holiday everything you could want. Space that is private and welcoming. There is a delightful rooftop patio to catch the last of the sun and toast another day amongst very friendly villagers. The village has a very pleasant restaurant and the towns of Tomar and Ourem are both a delight to visit, explore and relax in. The owners, Vic and Carole are always ready to help with questions and ideas.

The house is situated on the edge of the village of Lamierinha with views of the agricultural land and surrounding countryside. From the top patio you can see across to the mountains and watch the sun go down.

A mini market is attached and the towns of Tomar and Ourem are within a 20 minute drive where the larger stores provide more.
• Nearby Attractions: The Convent of Christ and Castle of Tomar were the headquarters of the Knight Templars in Portugal and it was they who initiated the exploration of the Americas. It is a magnificent building and a full morning or afternoon can be happily spent exploring it. There are also dinosaur footprints, Disney like caves, vineyards, water sports and lots more besides within easy driving distance.
Payments and Policies
Payment Details
20% non-refundable deposit is due at time of booking.(Balance due 30 days in advance.) There is no security/damage deposit required. If you cancel anytime, payments (less 20%) are refunded if the unit is re-rented.
Owner accepts payments by: Personal Cheque (Available for guests booking 31 or more days prior to arrival) - PayPal - Direct Bank Deposit - Cash
PayPal payments incur a 5% handling charge.
*Please note that the above policies relate to the Owner's portion only.
Policies
• No smoking is allowed.
• Children are allowed. A Crib and a High Chair can be provided.
• Check in after 2:00 PM and check out before 10:00 AM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.
• Dogs and Cats are allowed.
• There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
• No Maid Service is provided during a stay.
• Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
