In the small village of Torroella de Fluvia, only 6 km from the beaches of the Costa Brava, this charming old stone built house makes an ideal base to explore both coast and country. Standing in the village square, the family home has been divided in two, leaving Can Carles (on the left) with its own private entrance leading into the hall and dining room. There are thick stone walls and vaulted ceilings, going up to the simple, comfotable accommodation on the first floor. The separate, enclosed garden has a covered terrace, barbecue, fridge, sink and a shower room/toilet. There's a family run restaurant/bar in the village with a wide variety of shops and restaurants in the nearby towns of Sant Pere, Pescador and Figueres. The Dali Museum and L'Aiguamolls', one of Europe's most important bird reserves, are nearby. The property is conveniently located for arrival through either Barcelona or Girona airport. The booking is confirmed once signed documents have been faxed and 25% of the rental price (+ 28 Euros booking fee) has been paid. The remaining 75% of rental fee must be paid at least 42 days prior to arrival. If you cancel 75 or more days prior, payments less 15% of rental and 50 Euros are refunded.
