2 Single/Twin Beds (sleeps 2). This bedroom is on the lower level and has a view of the beach. There is air-conditioning and a ceiling fan along with an armoire and four (4) drawer dresser. There is a reading lamp and reading chair. There are three windows with opaque panes for privacy. Note that the twin size beds can be joined together to make a queen size bed.

1 King Bed (sleeps 2). The master bedroom is on the upper level has a picturesque view of the beach, ceiling fan and air-conditioning. 1 King Bed (sleeps 2). This bedroom is on the upper level at the back of the house and is adjacent to the rear patio. It has a single leather couch and full closet. There is a ceiling fan and air-conditioning. There is a reading lamp on either side of the bed. There is one window with curtains and one sliding door also with curtains.

There is a ceiling fan with lights and air-conditioning. The floor is carpeted and there are curtains on the window for privacy. Note that the twin beds can be joined together to make a queen size bed.

The views are of the Northwest end of the island. The major view is of Long Bay beach and the hotel along with views of neighboring islands such as Jost Van Dyke, Sandy Cay and parts of St. Thomas.
More Information
The house is quiet and relaxing and is set on the hillside on a private family estate in Long Bay, West End on the northwestern end of Tortola. Please let owners know if you would like the house stocked with groceries before your arrival. If you prefer, you can shop at one of the local grocery stores (Rite Way or Bobby's Supermarket) in Road Town on your way from the airport.

• The Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport is a forty minute drive. Alternatively, for guest flying in and out of St. Thomas, United States Virgin Islands, the Ferry Dock at West End, Tortola is a ten minute drive from the unit. The ferryride from St. Thomas is $25 one-way or $40.00 round trip. There is the risk of flight delay and missing the ferry depending on flight arrival. The last ferry to Tortola leaves at 5:00 pm. There is a hertz rental car office at the airport, the telephone # is (284)-495-6600 if you wish to reserve before your arrival. If you come through West End there are a number of car rental agencies to choose from, we recommend D & D Car Rental and the telephone # is (284)-494-8241.
Shopping and Dining: can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). There are several dining spots and shopping within reasonable distance of the house. The closest dining is at the hotel on the beach which is a four minute walk. The closest shopping are the superettes in the neighboring villages which are approximatley a ten minute drive to three different superettes. For the major shopping which is in the capital of Road Town, that is a twenty minute drive. For nightlife there is Bomba's Surfside Shack down the hill from Tranquil House that is open seven days a week with bands playing on Wednesdays and Sundays. The Shack is also world renowned for its Full Moon party. Close by is Long Bay Hotel which has two restaurants and entertainment also on Wednesdays and Sundays. Within walking distance is Sebastians Hotel, which has entertainment on Sundays. A very good local restaurant is Coco Plums which is walking distance and Palms Delight, a 5 minute drive to the nearby village of Carrot Bay.
• Beach gradient is gradual for a long distance. Beach surface is fine sand. The house has a direct view of the mile long beach and is a four (4) minute walk. There is a major hotel on this beach that has a beach restaurant and boutique and provides entertainment on Wednesday and Sunday nights. There are chez lounges on the beach that can be used at no cost however the house comes with six (6) portable fold out chairs for your convenience if you wish. For surfers there is a very good break at Cappoons Bay which is on the beach directly in front of the Bomba Shack. There is also a good break off the point of Cane Garden Bay which is a 20 miunute drive. On the Northeastern end of the island there are the breaks on Josiahs Bay Beach, and there is the break at the lava flows which you have to get to by boat. The highly recommended break is Cappoons Bay since it is close to the property and safer.
Payments and Policies
Payment Details
50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 45 days in advance). A refundable security/damage deposit of 400 is required. If you cancel less than 45 days prior, there is no refund.
Owner accepts payments by: Visa - Master Card - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque
Note for Payments: - Reservations for which a deposit is not received are cancelled 10 days from the date that made. Note for damage deposit: - Damage deposits are fully refundable within 45 days of guests departure, provided there are no damage, breakage, missing items, long distance calls charged to the house telephone and no other outstanding charges. Note for Cancellation: - All cancellation requests must be made IN WRITING. Cancellation received outside 45 days prior to arrival 75% of the deposit is refunded. For cancellations received within 45 days prior to arrival 100% of the deposit or rental (which ever has been received) is forfeited. However, if dates have been rebooked 75% of the payment will be refunded.

Policies
• No smoking is allowed.
• Children are allowed. A Crib and a High Chaircan be provided.
• Check in after 3:00PM and check out before 11:00AM.
• No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals).
• There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
• Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure. Housekeeping is provided every 2 days during a stay.
