The Whistler Ski Resort is located in the middle of the Squamish-Lillooet region along the Sea-to-Sky highway. It is 175 km (110 miles) from Vancouver and home of the 2010 Winter Olympics. Whistler has been voted as one of the top destinations in North America by major ski magazines over the past 15 years and is well worth a visit. Even if you don't ski, there is a myriad of activites and sights worth checking out including the pedestrian village that is filled with wonderous shops and has won design awards. The Whistler walkway trails are an excellent way to tour the resort and bicycles are welcome too. Summer and winter fun are just a stay away!
