2. Gyro Park / Beach
Boyce Gyro Park is situated south of city center along Lakeshore Road. This park provides an expansive grassed area. There are several volleyball courts, 9 picnic tables, a large playground, washrooms, concession and designated shallow swimming area. There is a very small portion of the north end of the beach marked for beaching of boats.
This particular beach is in a short walking distance from Mission Shopping Center and many motels.
