Southern California is made up of four main regions; Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego and Inland Empire. Within these regions are some of the largest urban areas in California. Tourists flock to the beaches of the South Coast and cities like San Diego, Oceanside and Hermosa Beach. The Inland Empire draws vacationers to attractions such as San Bernardino Forest and the Temecula wine region.
Los Angeles County has everything from Hollywood to LAX airport to local beaches, theatres, galleries and museums to a myriad of shopping and dining venues, as well as many sports teams such as the Lakers and the Dodgers.
In Orange County you can find the original Disneyland theme park at Anaheim. Take in all of the attractions in the two theme parks as well as the shopping and entertainment district.
Vacation rentals in the Inland Desert in California are also worth checking out if you plan on visiting other areas of California.
