The Sarasota Christmas Boat Parade of Lights
(December): Held in Sarasota Bay and features a competition of decorated power and sailboats in several classes. Some of the efforts are quite impressive with many involving thousands of lights. Best viewing from Bayfront Park in downtown Sarasota, FL.
(April): Siesta Fiesta has been happening in the Village on Siesta Key for more than 30 years. The largest part of the event is the arts and craft vendors that line Beach Road in front of the many Siesta Key Village merchants.
