The Faro International airport is about a 30 minute drive. The shuttle is about a 45 minute bus/shuttle. The shops and restaurants are about a 10 minute drive. There is 1 course within a walking or driving distance. Property is near the ocean. A fine sand beach, gradual for a short distance is a 5 minute walk. There is access to a canoe, power boat, windsurfer and rentals nearby. There is no access for boats. Salgados Beach is located in the Albufeira district of the Algarve. It offers a wide beach with large areas of natural sand dunes and a natural lagoon right next to it. The lagoon is full of birds, including the Flamingos which returns every spring. Parking is located behind the sand dunes, so you take a short walk along the boardwalk to get to the beach. Unlike many of the Algarve beaches there are no large cliffs or rocks in the water. It’s a flat, wide open area. You will also find seaside restaurants.
