Complex is located in the heart of the Sixth Street entertainment district and two blocks from the Warehouse entertainment district. There are restaurants galore; some with live music. Many other live music venues are also nearby. Shopping in the area consists of galleries, boutiques, specialty shops, small grocery and health food stores. The choices are many and all within walking distance. The indoor malls are within 10-15 minutes drive depending on time of day. Austin's Town Lake is only four blocks south. Lake Austin is a five minute drive. Lake Travis and Hippy Hollow are a 20 minute drive. The Perdinales River branch is 30 minutes. Lake Marble Falls, Lake LBJ and Lake Bucanan are all within easy driving time. Several of Austin's best golf courses are within 20 minutes drive time. The local buses, trolley, horse drawn carriage, and cycle carts are just outside the entrance. Austin airport is 15 minutes to the southeast. This location is four blocks from Town Lake with hike and bike trails and kayak rentals. Nightly dinner cruises are available. The famous Congress St. Bat Bridge is four blocks away. |
