It is 15 kilometres to Cairns airport and Cairns railway station. Only 4 doors to an excellent restaurant and short stroll to several others including including Yorkeys Knob Boating and Yacht Club - courtesy bus available. Palmer Kates Steakhouse also provide a courtesy bus. Take a moonlit stroll along the beach or start the day with an early morning walk. Close by is the renown Yorkeys Knob Yacht Club with a reasonably priced restaurant overlooking the marina and Marlin Coast. Half Moon Bay Golf Course is a challenging 18 hole course - and a very friendly club. Special green fees for in house guests ($25 for 18 holes). Buggies, clubs etc available for hire. Paradise Palms International Resort Course is a 15 minute drive. Visitors most welcome.
