Distances
One and a half miles south of Kailua-Kona pier. Easy walk to restaurants, shopping and swimming beach. Twenty minutes from Kona International Airport. Located on Ali'i Drive. The Ali'i Shuttle (painted red, white and blue) runs approximately every thirty to forty-five minutes. The large Keauhou Shopping Centre is located an eight minute drive south, and Kahaluu Beach Park is six minutes south. This is popular spot to surf and snorkle; it is frequented by turtles, and has a sheltered access for novice snorkelers. On the way there you will pass White Sands Beach (a.k.a. Magic Sands). The Kona Country Club golf course is the closest golf course, and has 36 championship holes, pro shop, driving range, restaurant and lounge. There are other golf courses to the north, and a course at the Volcano Golf and Country Club, which at 4,000 feet is the highest course in Hawaii. Volcanoes National Park is a two hour and twenty minute drive away. |
