Built on 15 acres of land in central Victoria, Dockside Green is based on the triple-bottom-line approach. The project has taken an integrated approach to energy, water, waste and resources management for sustainable site infrastructure associated with the project. Dockside Green boasts a suite of sustainability features, including LEED® Platinum buildings, low water consumption, sewage water treatment and reuse of treated water for irrigation and toilet flushing, on-site stormwater management through a combination of green roofs, bioswales and a naturalized creek that runs through the site (60% completed). It will contribute to reduced car use through a comprehensive transportation strategy and, in the future, will be greenhouse gas neutral thanks to the on-site biomass system that will heat the complex.

Victoria International Airport is within a 45 minute drive. Transit buses are within a 1 minute walk. Shopping and dining are across the street and about a 2 minute walk. The complex is ocean front.
