Dockside Green boasts a suite of sustainability features, including LEED® Platinum buildings, low water consumption, sewage water treatment and reuse of treated water for irrigation and toilet flushing, on-site stormwater management through a combination of green roofs, bioswales and a naturalized creek that runs through the site (60% completed). It will contribute to reduced car use through a comprehensive transportation strategy and, in the future, will be greenhouse gas neutral thanks to the on-site biomass system that will heat the complex. |
