The lake is 10 minutes away. Shopping and dining are just 10 minutes away. Whitefish Mountain Resort (formerly known as Big Mountain Ski and Summer Resort) is just two miles up the mountain road, a 5 minute drive. Glacier National Park is 40 minutes away by car. Flathead Lake (largest natural lake west of the Mississippi, 28 miles long) is 40 minutes. There are 9 golf courses nearby with one as close as a 15 minute drive. The Amtrack train is a 10 minute drive. FCA Glacier National Park Airport is within a 20 minute drive.
