Pleasant little house (70 m2) immersed in the greenery of the small island of Vignole, in the lagoon that surrounds Venice. The island was the destination for outings by the ancient Venetians and has conserved its characteristics such as its greenery, the old chapel and very few houses. You can buy fresh vegetables from the neighbours. This place is ideal for a holiday split between the sea and the greenery of the countryside, alternating with cultural visits to Venice and its surroundings. View over the lagoon and the countryside. Equipped outside area (200 m2) with pergolas, small flowering garden (barbecue) for outside dining.
ACCOMMODATION: Gr.fl.: spacious terrace, living/dining room (TV) with kitchen corner (oven), 1 double bedroom, 1 bedroom with two bunk beds, 1 bathroom with shower. Simple style furniture. Telephone. Baby-bed available. Central heating.
LOCATION: The house is near the canal that crosses the island. Well served by the steam boats that go to Venice (the crossing takes 18 minutes), to the Island of Murano (famous for its glass works, food shops, abt. 10 minutes) and from here the steam boat leaves for trips to the marvellous and historical islands of the lagoon: Burano, famous for its lacework, Torcello, centre for painters and artists (you should visit the early Christian Basilica). There is an excellent trattoria/pizzeria in the summertime just a short distance from the house.
The booking is confirmed once signed documents have been faxed and 25% of the rental price (+ 28 Euros booking fee) has been paid. The remaining 75% of rental fee must be paid at least 42 days prior to arrival. If you cancel 75 or more days prior, payments less 15% of rental and 50 Euros are refunded.
