There are views of Okanagan Lake through the pines, less than 1 km away. The unit is on Trout Lake, a small man-made lake out the side door. Trout Lake would allow for excellent ice skating when the ice is thick enough.

A 'complex' is either a condo, walled community, lodge, apartment or townhouse development.

• Kelowna International Airport is within a 45 minute(s) drive. The time of the drive to/from the airport is 45 minutes with no traffic and good weather. It could take more than 60 minutes in poor weather and/or heavy summer tourist traffic.
• Transit: can be reached by driving for 25 minute(s). Type of transit is Bus. There is no bus service directly to the Outback, as this is quite a rural setting.
• Golf: can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). There are more than 10 golf course(s) nearby.
• Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). Silver Star Mountain Resort is only 40 km away from this unit. The resort is typically open in early November for Nordic skiing and by mid November for alpine skiing. The season usually extends until mid April (but only because the crowds stop coming; there is still abundant snow left at closing). This is a great unit to rent if you want an affordable and very comfortable accommodation at peak times during the ski season (when the on-mountain accommodations are full and very expensive by comparison).
• Shopping and Dining: can be reached by driving for 25 minute(s). There are a handful of interesting and tasty restaurants in Vernon, including The Eclectic Med, The Italian Kitchen, The New Delhi, The Amarin Thai, and a Thong. There are many chain restaurants present. The closest pub is the Blue Heron at about 10 km away down Okanagan Landing Road towards Vernon.
• Lake is located within a 5 minute(s) walk. Beach gradient is gradual for a short distance. Beach surface is large pebbles. There is a dock and moorage float/anchor. The dock is private. There is room for 30 boats. Boats are allowed in the marina only during the summer months (May to September). The marina must be empty all winter long.
