Country home on Swan Lake This lovely farm house is located 10 minutes from downtown Vernon, B.C. On the North West sector of Swan Lake, the Property contains 3 acres which is very quiet and private, with large lawns sweeping towards the Lake. Swan Lake is also a bird sanctuary, a wonderful spot to watch many bird species. This property even boasts its own eagles' nest . There is a deck area along side the lake with dock access for canoeing or kayaking only. The property has 400 feet of lake frontage. It is not a good swimming lake as it is quite shallow in front of this property. |

This house has a modern kitchen with enough pots and pans and dishware for 10 people . It is convenient, well-lit and a pleasure to cook and entertain in!

1 Queen Bed (sleeps 2). Very large with hardwood floors and a lovely ensuite complete with soaker tub .

This home has a lake view, as well as hills. To the south of us is a lovely view down the lake to Vernon. Out the back door is an active eagles nest in the trees by our lakefront. They are fascinating to watch if you are lucky enough to be here when they are raising their young !

• Kelowna International Airport is within a 45 minute(s) drive. This airport has direct flights to most Major Destinations and is an easy 45 minute drive from our door.
• Golf: can be reached by driving for 15 minute(s). There are 4 golf course(s) nearby. • Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by driving for 30 minute(s). Sliver Star Ski Hill is located an easy 30 minutes from our door . The ski lifts are in operation in the summer for hikers and mountain bikers to access the mountain. Silver Star has a World Class mountain bike course. Alpine hiking is available in the Monashee Mountain Range 1 hour east of Vernon. • Shopping and Dining: can be reached by driving for 10 minute(s). There are many good restaurants within 10-15 minute drive from our door as well as large local farmer's markets and malls to shop in. • The unit is Lake front.
Payment Details
20% non-refundable deposit is due at time of booking.(Balance due 30 days in advance.) A credit card is required for a security/damage deposit. If you cancel anytime, payments are refunded if the unit is re-rented.
Policies
Owner accepts payments by: Personal Cheque (Available for guests booking 30 or more days prior to arrival) - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque *Please note that the above policies relate to the Owner's portion only.
• No smoking is allowed.
• Children are allowed. A Crib can be provided. • Check in after 2:00 PM and check out before 11:00 AM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request. • A maximum of 1 Dog is allowed under 40lbs (14kg) in size but must be approved by the Owner. • There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours. • No Maid Service is provided during a stay. • Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure. |
