Pass through a Japanese garden into our gorgeous wood and light filled waterfront home. Over 4000' of bright, open space with expansive vistas of the Pacific ocean, Trial Islands, the Olympic Mountains, eagles, sea lions, and the occasional whale.
The home has been lovingly constructed with extensive use of fir, granite, and slate. Though downtown Victoria is only minutes away (drive/walk), you may never want to leave home! Enjoy the view from the hot tub or explore the shoreline. For kids - a trampoline or the park down the block. The home is fully stocked and awaiting your arrival.

    1 Queen Upper Bunk Bed (sleeps 2) and 1 Double Lower Bunk Bed (sleeps 2). Vaulted ceiling allows for a stylish loft with a double sleigh bed below and a queen above.

    NOTE - we have a cat! She will be elsewhere during your stay (unless you want her around - she's a lap snuggler and very loving). However, if you are extremely allergic to cats you may want to consider a different home.

    • 40 minutes from Victoria International Airport. 40 minutes from the BC Ferries Terminal: 1.5 hours ferry ride from Vancouver, passing by the spectacular Gulf Islands. 7 minutes from Downtown Victoria, where you can arrive by seaplane from Vancouver or Seattle (Harbour Air, West Coast Air, Helijet).
    • Golf: can be reached by walking for 5 minute(s). There are several lovely golf courses in the area.
    • Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by driving for 90 minute(s). Mt. Washington with its hiking and mountain biking in the summer is a lovely 3.5 hour drive up Vancouver Island.
    • Shopping and Dining: can be reached by walking for 5 minute(s). Nearby shopping and restaurants are a 10 minute walk (3 minute drive). Downtown Victoria (restaurants, shopping, museums) is a 15 minute cycle or 45 minute walk (7 minutes by car).
    • Beach gradient is gradual for a short distance. Beach surface is rocky. OCEANFRONT!
    Payments and Policies
    Payment Details
    All of the rent is required (7 or more days in advance) to complete the booking. A refundable security/damage deposit of 1,500 is required. If you cancel less than 30 days prior to arrival, payments (less 300) are refunded if re-rented.
    Owner accepts payments by: Personal Cheque - PayPal - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque
    Your booking is not complete until owner receives your payment. A fully-refundable security deposit of $1500 is required and will be credited to you after you leave if the the home is found in "pre-rental condition".
    *Please note that the above policies relate to the Owner's portion only.
    Policies
    • No smoking is allowed.
    • Children are allowed.
    • Check in after 5:00 PM and check out before 12:00 PM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.
    • No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals).
    • There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
    • No Maid Service is provided during a stay.
    • Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
