Bed Summary

Master Bedroom

1 King Bed (sleeps 2). No need to get out of bed to enjoy the view over the waves to Trial islands. Leave the double doors to the balcony open to hear the gentle waves lapping at the shore, or enjoy your latté in the morning sun on the balcony.

Bedroom

1 Queen Upper Bunk Bed (sleeps 2) and 1 Double Lower Bunk Bed (sleeps 2). Vaulted ceiling allows for a stylish loft with a double sleigh bed below and a queen above.

Bedroom

1 Double Upper Bunk Bed (sleeps 2) and 1 Single Lower Bunk Bed (sleeps 1). Vaulted ceiling allows for a playful loft with a single hand-painted bed below and a queen above.

Bathrooms

Bathroom 1 has bathtub w/ jets.

More Information

NOTE - we have a cat! We prefer that she remain, if possible, during your stay (she mostly sleeps and is old and very loving). Alternate arrangements could be made. If you are extremely allergic to cats you may want to consider a different home. I do require a list of everyone staying in the house. Maximum is 8, including children. If you expect more than that, please let me know and perhaps we can work it out. This is a close neighbourhood and the house would NOT be suitable for parties. Thanks.

Distances

• 40 minutes from Victoria International Airport. 40 minutes from the BC Ferries Terminal: 1.5 hours ferry ride from Vancouver, passing by the spectacular Gulf Islands. 7 minutes from Downtown Victoria, where you can arrive by seaplane from Vancouver or Seattle (Harbour Air, West Coast Air, Helijet).
• Golf: can be reached by walking for 5 minute(s). There are several lovely golf courses in the area.
• Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by driving for 90 minute(s). Mt. Washington with its hiking and mountain biking in the summer is a lovely 3.5 hour drive up Vancouver Island.
• Shopping and Dining: can be reached by walking for 5 minute(s). Nearby shopping and restaurants are a 10 minute walk (3 minute drive). Downtown Victoria (restaurants, shopping, museums) is a 15 minute cycle or 45 minute walk (7 minutes by car).
• Beach gradient is gradual for a short distance. Beach surface is rocky. OCEANFRONT!

Payments and Policies

Payment Details

All of the rent is required (7 or more days in advance) to complete the booking. A refundable security/damage deposit of 1,500 is required. If you cancel less than 30 days prior to arrival, payments (less 300) are refunded if re-rented.
Owner accepts payments by: Personal Cheque - PayPal - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque
Your booking is not complete until owner receives your payment. A fully-refundable security deposit of $1500 is required and will be credited to you after you leave if the the home is found in "pre-rental condition".

Policies

• No smoking is allowed.
• Children are allowed.
• Check in after 5:00 PM and check out before 12:00 PM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.
• No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals).
• There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
• No Maid Service is provided during a stay.
• Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
