Special Conditions

Unit and lanai are strictly non-smoking. $250 cleaning fee on top of check out cleaning for violations.

Check in is 3pm; check out is 10am. Earlier or later times are possible depending on arriving/departing guests. 1/2 day or full day rate may be charged for late check out.

We will not rent to vacationing students or singles under age 25 without accompanying parent or guardian.
$50 fee for lost pool key.
Daily maid service available for additional fee.

Wine glasses, rice cooker, rice bowls, Tupperware, plastic ware for pools; Brand new appliances throughout plus new granite, tile, cabinets Aug 2008. Kitchen is fully stocked-dishes, glasses, cutlery, linens, cook books, pots/pans,wine opener, can opener, salad bowl and tongs... Basic amenities provided: Dish soap, dishwasher powder, paper towels, tissues, Toilet paper, clothes detergent. BBQ's at each of the 2 pools. Iron and ironing board. 2 hairdryers. Private clothes washer and dryer. Table and 4 chairs outside on lanai-you'll want to eat all your meals outside!

Master Bedroom

1 King Bed (sleeps 2). Very large Master bedroom with glorious ocean views; awaken each morning to the palms rustling and have your coffee in bed watching the pacific ocean. Full wall glass sliding doors to maximize view open on to large private lanai . High end mattresses purchased 2005. Plenty of spare pillows-pick one that's comfy for you. A/C, TV, Phone, tasteful Island decor. 2 night stands and lamps. Large dresser. Medium armoire that holds TV. Large paperback library. En suite bathroom. Ceiling fan.

Bedroom

1 King or 2 Singles Bed (sleeps 2). Large 2nd bedroom with en suite bathroom (like a 2nd master bedroom). Views of tropical garden and mountains. Can be set up as 2 twins or a king. High end mattresses purchased 2005. A/C, TV, radio, tasteful Island decor. 2 night stands, lamp, large dresser, ceiling fan.

Living Room

1 Queen Hide-A-Bed/Sofa Bed (sleeps 2). Very comfy sleeper sofa!

Bathrooms

Bathroom 1 is an en suite and has toilet, bathtub, shower, hair dryer and one basin.
Bathroom 2 is an en suite and has toilet, bathtub, shower, hair dryer and one basin.

View

Panoramic ocean views from inside and from lanai. Other buildings in foreground as well as lush landscaping, but you are immediately blown away by the view of the Pacific, the islands of Kahoolawe and the caldera of Molokini.

More Information

The pool key will be in the unit (there are two pools, one right outside our building-steps off the back lanai, and one a few buildings away; both have barbq grills). You need the key to get both in and out of the pool gates. Lost pool keys cost us $50 to replace and we will have to pass that cost on to you. We have our favorite restaurants listed in the guest info book on the coffee table. There is a Costco right by the airport which we usually stop to get water, diet coke, wine etc. There is also a wine shop (Wailea Wine) at Wailea Town Center (at the end of Wailea Ike Place-a 2 minute walk. Also for more mainstream groceries, there is a Safeway on Piilani Hwy about 10 minutes from the Condo. It’s in the shopping center with Roys, Outback Steak House, Starbucks, Hilo Hatties and a bunch of smaller shops. There are a variety of shops and restaurants 5 minutes away at The Shops at Wailea.

• Kahului, Maui Airport is within a 25 minute(s) drive. Easy drive on new 4 lane hwy. Airport code: OGG Stop by Costco right by the airport on your way in.
• Transit: can be reached by walking for 4 minute(s). Type of transit is Bus. To best enjoy Maui, we recommend a car. Most things in Wailea are walkable if you are fit (for the mild hills) but to venture out and see all that Maui has to offer, a car is best. Island bus service, airport "Speedy Shuttles", taxis, free Wailea resort shuttle. Major car rental agencies are at airport (Avis, Budget, Hertz, Dollar, Alamo)
• Golf: can be reached by driving for 5 minute(s). There are 7 golf course(s) nearby.
• Shopping and Dining: can be reached by driving for 5 minute(s). You can walk to The Shops at Wailea in about 5 minutes (downhill) where you will find various shops and restaurants. Kihei town with many more shops and restaurants is about a 7 minute drive (or 25-30 minute brisk walk).
• Beach is located within a 4 minute(s) drive.
• Nearby Attractions: Less than 5 minute walk to the Wailea Tennis Center. Surfing in Kihei (7 minute drive), windsurfing Maalaea (15 minute drive). Many excellent beaches within 10 minute drive. Info in our unit guest information book. Boat trips (whale trips Nov-Mar; snorkeling, dolphin adventures year round) at Maalaea (15 minute drive)

Payments and Policies

Payment Details

There is no security/damage deposit required.
Owner accepts payments by: Visa - Master Card - Travelers Cheques
30% or 3 nights plus taxes(larger of) due upon confirmation by Visa or MC. Balance due 45 days prior to check-in (60 for major holidays) by Visa, MC, or check. $250 of deposit is non-refundable for any cancellation prior to 45 days (60 for holidays); remainder of deposit fully refundable. Cancellations within 45 days (60 for major holidays)forfeit all monies paid. $250 fee for violating smoking policy.

Policies

• No smoking is allowed.
• Children are allowed.
• Check in after 3:00 PM and check out before 10:00 AM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.
• No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals).
• Guests are asked to be quiet between the times of 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
• An optional Daily Maid Service is available for the following fee of negotiated.
• Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
