    Bahia Dorada is a beautiful beachfront community located 5 km west of the Town of Estepona. It is sandwiched between the Mediterannean Sea to the south and the Bermeja Mountains to the north. There are six community swimming pools available to guests. There are tennis courts on the grounds of the community that can be reserved. There are numerous golf courses within a 25 minute drive. The Estepona Golf Course is only a 2 km drive away. The beach at Bahia Dorada is never crowded. Same day trips from Bahia Dorada include Gibraltar, Jerez de la Frontera with it's sherry bodegas and world famous equestrian show, many white villages, Ronda with it's famous bullring, Marbella and Puerta Banus, both jet setter destinations, and Malaga, the major city of the Costa del Sol. Sevilla, Granada, and Tangier, Morocco can be one day trips but are of the "long day" variety. Estepona, a community of about 50,000, is large enough to have nice restaurants, bars, and shopping but not the congestion of larger population centers. It retains much of it's "old Spain" charm, something too often lost to development in other communities. It is a great place to hang out and watch the world go by.
