Glacier's Reach is located right across the street from Whistler's largest Grocery Store and "Marketplace" where you can find a video store, liquor store, post office, pharmacy, Starbucks, candy store, ski and snowboard shops, internet cafe, craft shop, doctors clinic, etc... everything you could possibly need.
The Whistler Golf Course is behind the complex. There are other world famous golf courses such as Nicklaus North, only a few minutes away, by foot or car. There are golf club rentals available.
There is a free shuttle bus that takes you up to the mountain and returns
you back at the end of the day. My unit is located across the street from
the bus stop. The trip takes only 5 mins up to the mountain
The ocean is about a 45 minute drive, towards Squamish. There are many lakes in the Whistler area, most of them accessible by foot via the "Valley Trail." During the summer months there is access to various lakeside beaches, via the "Valley Trail." Please note, that there are no lifeguards on duty.
