The fully equipped kitchen,updated September/09 with new countertops, natural stone and glass backsplash, double sink, Moen faucet, etc, includes a wide range of kitchen necessities including sugar, salt, pepper, coffee filters, and all helpful items to ensure ease of cooking. Linens, dish detergent, cleansers, etc. are supplied. There is an iron and small ironing board in the condo.
The adjacent dining area seats 4 comfortably, with lots of room for cards or games (we've even provided these). Coin operated laundry facilities are available on the lower level.
Master Bedroom
1 Queen Bed (sleeps 2). Brand new queen size Sealy Posturepedic bed has down duvet (in winter) and great pillows. All linens supplied, including additional blankets and extra pillows.
2 bedside tables, each with trilight lamp for reading. Large closet with shelving and lots of space for hanging clothes. Laundry hamper.
Living Room
1 Queen Hide-A-Bed/Sofa Bed (sleeps 2). Brand new queen hide abed (Sept/09) has deep mattress; linens includes comforter in winter/blankets in summer.
Relax in the lovely armchair, or curl up in the long window seat with a book.
Sit back and enjoy cable TV on the 32" LCD TV.
Bathroom 1 has toilet, bathtub, shower, hair dryer and one basin.

The poolside unit has a private patio and faces into a beautiful courtyard. There are mountain views from the patio, pool and hot tub.

Recent renovations and upgrades for the building itself to bring us up to date for the Olympics include a new look for the building and a new larger hot tub. As well, the condo had significant renovations recently, including new countertops, backsplash, double stainless sinks, Moen taps, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, rugs, light fixtures, duvets, painting of the unit and updated decor. We have just installed a beautiful 32" LCD wall mounted TV - enjoy!!

• The train station is a 2 minute drive, 5 minute walk from the condo.
There are buses from the Vancouver Airport directly to Whistler. These buses stop across the street from the Lake Placid Lodge. Direct to Whistler limousine service is also available at the airport.
There is a small airport in Pemberton and helijet service into Whistler.
• Golf: can be reached by walking for 20 minute(s). There are 3 golf courses located in Whistler, less than 15 minute drive from the condo. These are Nicholas North, Chateau Whistler and Whistler Golf Club. 3 more courses are within 1/2 hour drive of the condo. These are Big Sky G&C, Pemberton G&C, Squamish Golf Club. Furry Creek G&C is about 45 minutes. • Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by walking for 5 minute(s). A true Ski in/Ski Out! Walk out of the front door of the complex, across the street and onto the lift. If you want to ski Blackcomb, take the lift across the street to midstation, ski down to the Village and directly onto the Blackcomb lift. No parking, no walking, no lineups! • Shopping and Dining: can be reached by walking for 5 minute(s). The condo is located in the heart of the new Creekside village, but still provides a quiet environment. The fantastic new Village provides extensive amenities, including a wide variety of restaurants and pubs (including the famous "Dusty's"), a new Marketplace Grocery with fresh meat, produce, bakery and more, a second 24 hour grocery store also with great bakery, Starbucks, retail outlets, video rentals, beer and wine store, ATM, and Whistler Guest Relations and Kids Ski Camp. The Village is less than 2 miles, accessible by car or by local transit. Local transit is accessible across the street from the main entrance of the complex and runs on a regular basis. A scenic paved trail (for walking or biking) winds around the lakes and takes you to the village as well. • Larger lakes are about 15 minute walk or a short drive by car. The beach at Nita Lake is a 5 minute walk.
Payment Details
50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 15 days in advance). There is no security/damage deposit required. If you cancel anytime, payments (less 50) are refunded if the unit is re-rented.
Policies
Owner accepts payments by: Personal Cheque (Available for guests booking 31 or more days prior to arrival) - PayPal - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque - Direct Bank Deposit - Cash - Email Money Transfer Deposit due within 7 days of booking. *Please note that the above policies relate to the Owner's portion only.
• No smoking is allowed.
• Children are allowed. • Check in after 3:00 PM and check out before 11:00 AM. • No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals). • Guests are asked to be quiet between the times of 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM. • An optional Daily Maid Service is available for the following fee of $40.00. • Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure. |
