Toumey Nursery, Black River Harbor, North Country National Scenic Trail, Watersmeet Visitor Center and Sylvania, Sturgeon River Gorge, and McCormick Wildernesses are all part of this 953, 600-acre forest. Fishing for trout, muskie, northern pike, walleye, bass, and panfish; swimming, canoeing, boat landing; hunting for big and small game, hiking, cross-country and downhill skiing, picnicking, camping. (Daily) The Gogebic Iron Range, stretching from Lake Namekagon east 80 miles to Bessemer, Michigan is known for two things: iron ore and waterfalls. This 80-mile drive takes you bushwhacking through the Iron Range in search of 10 waterfalls (some of them quite removed from civilization) and Iron County's mining history. There are quite a few unpaved roads on this route and they're not well marked, either, so keep your wits about you. Special attractions: Copper Falls State Park, Oglebay Norton Mining Company Town, wildlife watching, hiking, fishing, camping, skiing, snowmobiling.
50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 15 days in advance). A credit card is required for a security/damage deposit. If you cancel anytime, all payments are forfeited except your security/damage deposit. Owner accepts payments by: Personal Cheque (Available for guests booking 14 or more days prior to arrival) - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque - Travelers Cheques
