• Cozumel----CZM Airport is within a 15 minute(s) drive. Another option is to fly into Cancun. From Cancun take a luxury coach or taxi to Playa Del Carmen and catch the comfortable high speed ferry to Cozumel. Total travel time is 2-3 hours depending on connections. Cost is around $32.00 round trip. Once in Cozumel, you are less than two miles from the condo. Taxis are everywhere near the ferry dock.
• Golf: can be reached by driving for 20 minute(s). There are 1 golf course(s) nearby.
• Shopping and Dining: can be reached by walking for 10 minute(s). The location is one of the reasons we bought here. You can enjoy all the benefits of being close to town, shopping and entertainment and also have the ocean in your back yard. A combination that you will really appreciate. There is a Wal-Mart type store across the street. They sell groceries, wine, beer, and personal/household items. There is no need for a car as you are just a 15 minute walk to some of the best dining and shopping Cozumel has to offer.
• The unit is Ocean front. Beach gradient is steep, drops off immediately. Beach surface is fine sand. There is a dock. The dock is private. There is room for 2 boats. The beautiful man made beach is just steps from the terrace. Isla Cozumel is made up of volcanic rock so man made beaches are the norm on the leeward side of the Island. The beach has palapas, chaise lounges and umbrella tables. The swimming out in front is wonderful with a sandy bottom and a reef close by for some excellent snorkeling. If you are looking for miles of unspoiled beaches you should take a trip to the east, (wild), side is a must. The east side is free of resorts and in its natural state. You can walk the beach for miles and never see another person. There are a few rustic restaurant/bars on the east side that are open only during the day as there is no electricity over there. If you get a chance, stop at Coconuts a thatched roof restaurant on the highest point of the Island. Great food and view!
• Nearby Attractions: There is a newly completed Nicklaus designed golf course. Swim with the dolphins, scuba diving, deep sea fishing, Mayan ruins, dune buggy tours, glass bottom boats, tour the reefs in a submarine, party cruises, sunset cruises, miniature golf and horseback riding are all nearby. There is also a multiplex cinema across the street.
