We have a large modern kitchen in which you can prepare a home made meal and as an added bonus Ana will wash the dishes in the morning. Or we can arrange to have home made meals brought to you. If you prefer dining out, there are also many native restaurants within 15 minutes. There are fresh fruit stands in every little town, notably Akumal and Tulum. Staff: Ana, our housekeeper, will make the beds, sweep the floors, do the dishes and clean the villa every day (exp. Sunday). Also for a nominal fee (50 pesos/load), she will also do your laundry. Pedro, our groundskeeper, will keep the windows sparkling clean and the beach out front well groomed. He will also set up a kids inflatable pool for the toddlers if you desire. Other Activities: For the nature lovers, if you come down between May and October you can witness the nesting habits and hatching of loggerhead and green turtles right on our beaches. For the ancient civilization buffs, there are numerous major and minor Mayan ruins within 3 hours of Villa Italiano including: Tulum, Coba, Ek Balam, Uxmal, Chichen Itza, Mayapan, Lultun and Muyil to name a few. For the fisherman the prime time is April, May & June for wahoo, mahi-mahi, yellowfin tuna, sailfish, white and blue marlin and others. During the day you can snorkel, swim or kayak right out back in our reef protected bay. You can also walk down the beach and hire a small fishing boat for a short ride just outside the bay. You can parasail, also just a short walk down the beach. It is only a short drive to the historic Mayan ruins at Tulum and Coba as well as to Playa del Carmen where you can catch a ferry to Cozumel Island. Playa Blanca #2 offers a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, breakfast bar, and living area, including; a gorgeous view of Akumal's Half Moon Bay. Being on the ground floor, there are no stairs to climb up & down to get to the beach or while watching the kids on the beach. Great swimming and snorkeling is available just out the patio door.     Beachfront, 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath Condo with great location along Half Moon Bay. This property has great snorkeling just a few steps away and a large swimming pool. Each Tan Ik unit has two beachside terraces, full kitchen, living and dining area. Tan Ik is a small condominium property offering an excellent location along Half Moon Bay. The beach here is wide and soft and there is excellent snorkeling just in front. This three level condominium property offers six, two bedroom units. Each with beachside patio and ocean views. A beachside swimming pool is great for cooling off and is well designed to include space for swimming or just relaxing in the cool water. Pool and beach furnishings along with a large palapa with hammocks and a poolside restroom are also available for guest use. Each of the condominium units at Tan Ik are lovely and sophisticated with a simple open design that allows breezes and light to move through easily. Both bedrooms have an ocean view and also their own ensuite bathroom. There is a hair dryer in the master bathroom. The bedrooms and the open plan living/dining/kitchen have minisplit airconditioning units, there is a flat screen TV with satellite programming in the living room, and there is WiFi internet access throughout the building.
