Discover too the smells of lavender & thyme as you walk amongst the mountain herbs & flowers, particularly Jan - May. The house is actually situated on a long marked circular walk. Note: Most walks are un signposted so a good compass and map reading skills are useful. However if required we can arrange guided walks for groups. The area surrounding is fabulous cycling country for the enthusiast ! There are miles of quiet roads crossing open countryside with gorgeous views of the heath land, mountains, almond, olive, orange and lemon groves. Its often hard going so strictly for the fit and adventurous. The mountain biker too has many hill and mountain tracks to choose from. The Enormous Sorbas cave system is nearby. There are guided tours of the caves from easy going for beginners to more advanced for those with experience. Equipment can be provided by the centre. Granada and The Alhambra Palace is a must to visit at only 2 hours distance by motorway. For film enthusiasts there is Mini Hollywood Film Studio, Oasis Reserva Zoologica, Fort Bravo Cinema Studios and Western Lodge.
