It also features a 12 feet long and 16ft wide shallow area “baja step “ for the smaller kids a to play and for adults to lounge and sun bait. The kids would love it. The pool and spa areas are gated for your safety. Also in the backyard we have a large bathroom with separate shower, patio set and BBQ. There is also a small play area with castle and outdoor kitchen and dining for kids. We provide 2 single strollers, a pack n play and plenty of toys and games for everyone, as well as a washer and dryer. For your convenience we have also included a helpful welcome packet in the home. This packet includes information on the home and the local area, tips and tricks for Disneyland, where to buy discounted tickets, lists and maps of local restaurants and grocery stores, maps to Disneyland from the house and more. Waterproof, allergen proof and bed bug mattress protectors are on every bed and everything is thoroughly cleaned between each stay. All upstairs bedrooms have HDTV with DVD, cable channels, and the highest speed Wi-Fi. We have a ping pong, outdoor firepit, outdoor shower with hot and cold water, wood burning indoor fireplace (impossible to find in this area) and a 52-inch TV in the Great Room. The roof deck has an enclosed glass room with fridge, toaster and coffee-maker, seating bar and chairs that look out at the sunset and ocean, 4 dining tables and matching chairs that we personally shipped from Morocco, outdoor sectional couch and chaise lounge chairs, multiple umbrellas, roof deck has a nice, above code height railing. There are 3 spiral Staircases that lead to the roof deck both interior and exterior access. Our home has a Bertazzoni professional range, new Bosch dishwasher, 2 sinks in fully stocked kitchen, kuerig and traditional coffee maker, front-load washer/dryer, gas grill, and one Weber charcoal grill (Weber available upon request). Our one bedroom home with full bath is within the wooded area of Mount Helix. The bedroom has a comfortable queen bed, large closet with all amenities. This property is very private and quiet with beautiful surroundings, lots of places to sit and enjoy the garden or the early morning wildlife. Walk out onto the wrap around porch which over looks the pool and amazing views of the hillsides of Mount Helix. This one acre property also has a studio adjacent to the main house which is sometimes rented as a vacation rental as well (a max of 2 adults) I will most likely be on the property some of the time maintaining it, if so I stay in the private guest house. So at any given time there might be a max of 5 adults on my property. Ask at time of renting how many adults will be on property. When you come to sunny Mt. Helix you’ll enjoy the savings on your accommodations & see sunshine everyday. Be sure to visit the top of Mt. Helix for a 360 degree view of San Diego. Enjoy downtown La Mesa which is known as the 'Jewel of the Hills.' Near perfect climate, a quaint downtown village. Visit the Farmers' Market which is a tradition on Friday afternoons. The nearest beach for sunbathing, surfing and swimming is Tourmaline Beach. A 5 minute stroll up the street to a staircase will lead you down to a smaller beach perfect for tide pooling among the rocks. If stairs pose a problem, you can access the beach from the Tourmaline Surfing Park parking lot, located just a 10 minute walk, or short drive south of the home.
