Anaheim Permit REG2016-00028 Purchased from Tarek & Christina of HGTV's “Flip or Flop”, this home was featured in one of their episodes. They did an amazing job of remodeling it and the current owners made it even better when they remodeled and redecorated it again in 2015. A huge added benefit is that it is just a 2-3 minute drive or Uber to the Disneyland entrance. This home has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an added bonus room, which can sleep 4 additional children or adults. NOTE: This extra bonus room (Legal Full Bedroom) with bath creates the same occupancy as a 4-bedroom home. And of course the home is furnished with quality linens throughout. The spa and salt-water pool with rock were also remodeled in 2015. Our one bedroom home with full bath is within the wooded area of Mount Helix. The bedroom has a comfortable queen bed, large closet with all amenities. This property is very private and quiet with beautiful surroundings, lots of places to sit and enjoy the garden or the early morning wildlife. Walk out onto the wrap around porch which over looks the pool and amazing views of the hillsides of Mount Helix. This one acre property also has a studio adjacent to the main house which is sometimes rented as a vacation rental as well (a max of 2 adults) I will most likely be on the property some of the time maintaining it, if so I stay in the private guest house. So at any given time there might be a max of 5 adults on my property. Ask at time of renting how many adults will be on property. When you come to sunny Mt. Helix you’ll enjoy the savings on your accommodations & see sunshine everyday. Be sure to visit the top of Mt. Helix for a 360 degree view of San Diego. INSIDE THE RENTAL Roll down your window as you drive down the quiet street to take in the salt water scents—the ocean is just blocks away. Lush landscaping surrounds the home, and there's plenty of parking in the driveway and on the street. Next to the driveway, a paver patio invites you take a load off on sun loungers and dine al fresco at an outdoor table. Cook up your favorite foods on the huge charcoal grill, built into an outdoor counter. Back at the front, climb the stone steps to the front porch, where a small patio offers ocean views from a table and 4 chairs. From here, enter into the main living room, open and bright with lots of natural light streaming in. The entry also has double doors leading out to the side patio. The expansive living room has plush couches and leather armchairs. Fire up the gas fireplace on cool nights and watch a movie on the 45” flat screen TV. The master en suite has a walk-in closet, huge glass door tub and shower combination, and a single sink with extra-long counter. More natural light and a queen-size bed greet guests in the 2nd bedroom, while those spending the night in the 3rd bedroom get a queen-size bed, 30” TV, and private balcony with bistro table for 2. Both bedrooms share the upstairs full bath, equipped with a single sink, dual mirrors, and walk-in shower. THE LOCATION For fun and sun, walk 5 blocks down to Lookout Park, where there's direct beach access. Take a break from the beach and let the kids romp on the playground or take a hike on the park’s trails. Don’t feel like cooking Grab a table at Tinker’s Burgers (6 minutes on foot) or Stacky’s Seaside (7 minutes on foot). Sip on delicious vintages at Summerland Winery, just an 8-minute walk down the street.     Our stunning Summerland home has some of the best views in Southern California. From the beach decor to the natural sunlight, you really will feel like you're in paradise. Not to mention- Summerland beach is just a 7 minute walk from our front door!. Welcome to our 3BR/2BA coastal hideaway in enchanting Summerland. We initially purchased this vacation home for its amazing ocean views and then we fell in love with its classic California charm. When you walk in the front door you will be filled with a sense of wonderment by the open flow of the home which is enhanced by the floor to ceiling glass doors. The full kitchen has wrap-around tile counters which are perfect for food preparation when making snacks or family style meals. The kitchen opens up into the upstairs living room and makes for the perfect entertaining space. The upstairs living room has a comfy couch and amazing ocean views from the huge windows overlooking the tree tops. The large sliding glass doors open up to the upstairs deck which has plenty of seating area and is our favorite spot to enjoy our morning coffee while watching the ocean waves. Our two guest bedrooms are located on the main level with a shared bathroom. The first guest room has a big cozy queen bed and tons of closet space; we like to call this room “The Queen Room”. Our second guest bedroom is kid friendly with a twin bed with a trundle underneath. The upstairs living room has a unique spiral staircase which leads down to the second living room which comes complete with a big plush couch, flat screen TV, and a second patio area. The downstairs floor has the master bedroom which has a deluxe king bed, TV with cable and private bathroom. We even have a second entrance into our house on the bottom floor, which allows for our guests to come and go without inconveniencing others. We hope you love your stay at our ocean hideaway in the hills; there is no better place to escape to. Summerland –this town’s name says it all. Summerland is a classic California beach town, located just five miles south of Santa Barbara. Lillie Avenue is dotted with antique stores, cozy cafes, and locally owned shops punctuated by charming cottages. Summerland is rich in history and we encourage visitors to take a tour of all the town’s landmarks such as The Big Yellow House and Summerland Church. Summerland Greenwell Preserve is a beautiful spot to enjoy native California plants and wildlife, located northeast of town this preserve is known for its native wetland plant species. The town’s central beach is framed by Lookout Park, where you can watch the breakers from above and take in the breathtaking views. Lookout Park has a beautiful beach for sunbathers, surfers, horseback riding, and so much more. Summerland Winery is right on the main drag down the street from our beautiful house. You will seriously have it all.
