A New Mexico Historic Site and listed on the National Registry of Historic Places, the Legendary Ranch was a Million acre Cattle Empire under the steady hand of Englishman Thomas Lyons and his wife Ida Campbell. Today the Ranch Headquarters is a 60 room compound that includes an Old West Saloon, Wedding Chapel, Theatre, Gallery, Bunkhouse and 27 room Main Ranch House. Not a "dude" or working ranch, but an Historic glimpse into the legendary million acre cattle empire. Tour the Main House where Cattle Baron Tom Lyons and wife Ida Campbell lived their lavish lives, then relax in the pool, the Historic old saloon, or enjoy the art and music filled Gallery. As a friend describes "It's like a ride on a very nice old train". The Gate House is a newly renovated, well appointed accommodation perfect for a couple, or couple "plus one", if they are willing to sleep on the couch. King Size four-post bed, Air conditioned, full kitchen, Satellite TV, private bathroom with Jacuzzi. (Two more apartments will be ready next year.) Once you're settled in, time to check out the Ranch. The National Park Service, in their publication "The Cattleman's Empire" described the million acre ranch as "Overshadowing all other ranching operations in the Southwest", and “The L C Ranch remains as one of the last surviving Great Ranch Houses of the Old West”. The cattle, cowboys and million acres are long gone. Cattle Baron Tom Lyons was murdered in El Paso in 1917. An Englishman, Tom Lyons' feudal empire collapsed shortly after his demise. His 27 room adobe mansion, lavishly refurnished, remains along with all the outbuildings of the Ranch Headquarters.

Vaulted ceilings, a big warm fireplace, and a huge deck with a hot tub are just of few of the featured amenities in this quaint, cozy getaway. Despite its location in a residential area, the property lots on either side and across the street from the home are undeveloped, offering you and your guests additional privacy among the tall pines. Approximately 25 steps lead up to the front door from the driveway. The main entrance is on the home's large, wrap-around deck, which also offers access to the living room from the back of the house. The spacious deck features seating, a dining table, a hot tub with a privacy wall on two sides, and ample sunshine. Inside the front door, the living room is as about as "woodsy" as you can get, with wooden walls, vaulted ceilings, and flooring. Two plush recliners, a couch, and a high-top dining table with seating for four surround the gas fireplace and it's huge stone mantle. The adjacent kitchen opens into the living room and has access to both the laundry facilities and the lower-level bedroom. The kitchen has lots of cabinets and upscale granite counter tops, and the oven, gas stove, and dishwasher are all newer models. Heading into the carpeted bedroom, you'll find a queen bed, a closet, and a full, private bathroom at the back of the house. Upstairs, the master bedroom is situated in an open, loft-like room overlooking the living room below. The carpeted master suite features a king-size bed, glass doors leading to a private upper deck, a trundle bed with two single mattresses, vanity station, flat screen TV, more vaulted ceilings, and another full, private bathroom. Additional amenities and perks at The Breathe Inn include a kids' nook underneath the staircase that is stocked with books and games, centralized location with easy access to shopping, restaurants, and grocery stores, ceiling fans, and lots of natural sunlight thanks to its many windows and two overhead skylights in the living room. Please note that four-wheel drive or chains may be required to access the driveway if snow or ice are present.

Jaw-dropping views of the mountains from a huge balcony await you at this Eastside Santa Fe condo. Just minutes from Canyon Road, Vista de Colores offers luxurious accommodations, New Mexico style! From the moment you enter the living room and see the southwestern colors, cozy kiva fireplace, and fine viga ceiling, you know you are in for something very special indeed at Vista de Colores. The mountains are just beyond the big windows and sliding-glass doors, fronted with the beauty of the ski basin and foothills. You have arrived in paradise, with nothing to do but enjoy it all! Step down into the living room and sink into one of the ultra-comfortable leather couches. One of these opens up into a queen-sized sleeper, allowing several lucky members of your group to have ringside seats for the most beautiful sunrises in the world. There is room for everyone here, and each seat is spacious and so relaxing. Cancel your plans for the evening, whip up some drinks and appetizers, and spend the night in! The deck beckons to you from the front room, and you probably won't be able to resist for long. This wide wooden balcony overlooks a sweeping vista of natural beauty, breathtaking in any season. Crisp mountain air enhances the effect of being on top of the world! Find a seat at the patio table or one of the rockers, pour yourself a glass of wine, and admire the sheer majesty of this little corner of the world. There are views in many directions, and the open sky seems vast, yet the city of Santa Fe is just minutes away! It is the best of both worlds -- a feeling of remoteness, plus proximity to all the delights of civilization! When it's time to go indoors again, step up into the spacious dining area at Vista de Colores. The table here seats 6 and offers nice views as well as a separate living space from the main room. It's a lovely place to dine, but also a good all-purpose room for your valuable vacation downtime: playing board games, using laptops and tablets, or working an enormous jigsaw puzzle! Of course, you don't have to be a chef to stay at Vista de Colores . . . but the kitchen here might make you feel like one! Even if you are determined not to cook one single thing while on vacation, the spotless stainless-steel appliances and state-of-the-art gourmet gadgetry found in these cupboards might tempt you to pick up a whisk. All of the cookware and serving dishes you could ask for are stacked and waiting for you. Thanksgiving in Santa Fe, anyone?! The magnificent Farmer's Market in town will turn any ordinary meal into a regional feast. You may be enjoying the living and dining spaces so much at this condo that you stay up far later than you intended, but that's alright because once you stretch out on these luxurious beds, you're going to sleep late in the morning, too! There are two bedrooms at Vista de Colores (not to mention the sleeper sofa in the living room), and both will assure you of a great night's sleep in calm and quiet. The master suite offers a luxe king-sized bed in a cool-toned room with staggering mountain views and plenty of storage space in the walk-in closet. The bath is first-rate as well, with a tiled shower/tub combination. As much as you may want to explore the city or race down the ski slopes, it's tempting to linger long after sunrise in this suite! The second bedroom is ideal for children, grandparents, or another couple. Two twin-sized beds await tired travelers in a soothing, quiet atmosphere. Oh, there are terrific views from here too, but you can also make the room quite dark for afternoon nappers. And a second full bath is convenient to this room. Close the door and get a great night's rest every single day of your vacation here! In addition to the big back deck overlooking the mountains, Vista de Colores has a courtyard at the front of the condo. This area is just right for slipping out first thing in the morning to savor the sunrise with a mug of coffee . . . or counting the stars before going up to bed. Private and peaceful, it's yet another lovely space to savor all the moments of your Santa Fe vacation. And Vista de Colores has all the "mod cons" you need for your vacation. You will find WiFi, cable TV, a DVD player, and CD player waiting for you here. All towels and linens are provided, as well as a washer and dryer. Pack light -- it's easy to stay here. And despite all of its breathtaking wilderness views, Vista de Colores is just a 10-minute walk from the galleries and shops of Canyon Road, and not much farther from all the sights of the Plaza and the Guadalupe Railyard District. So whether you have come to ski, hike, attend the opera, or simply "do" Santa Fe in all its historic and artistic beauty, you'll find the perfect home-away-from- home to return to each evening when you book Vista de Colores. Please be our guest next time your travels bring you to northern New Mexico!

The second bedroom offers a queen-sized bed, wall-mounted TV, and shares a full bathroom (shower and tub) with the living area of the condo. Perfect for a second couple, friends, or children, this room is light and spacious. Of course, if you get ambitious, the kitchen here is state-of-the-art, bursting with all the appliances, utensils, pots, and pans you need to prepare a feast. But even if you just use the coffee maker, microwave, fridge, and blender for your quick snacks and drinks, you'll enjoy the availability of a fully "furnished" kitchen. No rushing to the store to buy a bottle opener or a pack of paper plates when you come to Eastside Enchantment! Pick up some groceries and you could cook Thanksgiving dinner for a crowd from this kitchen! One of the best parts of Eastside Enchantment is that although it is made for vacationing, it's also designed as a workspace. A gleaming stacked washer and dryer await all your shopping and skiing togs; the stainless-steel dishwasher stands ready to be filled; and the condo even includes a small office, complete with shelves, ergonomically friendly chair, and enough outlets to power up all your equipment. If you need to slip away to get a little business done, this is a great place to work in peace without having to shush everyone or push aside games and projects on the tables. Best of all, Eastside Enchantment offers fantastic vistas from a large patio overlooking the valley. With the mountains as a backdrop, you can enjoy the clear, clean air of northern New Mexico in perfect comfort. The gas grill is ideal for whipping up quick meals and the kiva fireplace just right for ambiance . . . not to mention s'mores! The patio table and chairs here may just become your favorite spot, the place you hurry to each morning with that first cup of coffee, then linger long after the magnificent sunset at day's end. The patio wraps around, giving you views in several directions, and you will never tire of looking out at the beautiful countryside. Now, this is the real Santa Fe!

See Santa Fe from a luxurious Eyrie on top of the world! That's how you'll feel at Dorthia Garden Retreat & Views, a gorgeous estate on more than an acre overlooking both the city and the mountains. To say that the views from this large home are "panoramic" is to diminish them: in truth, they are breathtaking in both scope and beauty. Wherever you look, you see either the snowy Sangre de Cristos, the twinkling lights of Santa Fe, the rolling foothills leading down to the Rio Grande Valley, or all of the above! And you don't have to be outdoors to do it: this home is full of enormous, floor-to-ceiling plate-glass windows that can make you feel as though you're hovering over the canyon. You will never, ever tire of the views from Dorthia Garden! From the moment you pull up on the sweeping drive and see the fountain, you will know you're in for something very special at Dorthia Garden. Ornately carved double doors lead you into a huge common area, bathed in sunlight and furnished with a wealth of ultra-comfortable sofas and chairs. Flop down on the sectional or stretch out in the leather armchair, kick off your shoes, and revel in the knowledge that you need do absolutely nothing except enjoy your vacation in paradise! One of the best features of Dorthia Garden is its spaciousness. Viga ceilings, a huge fireplace, handsome pillars, and a low dividing wall help to define the common area, but nothing is crowded, from the wide hallway to perfectly-placed furnishings. Your big group can really spread out here without bumping elbows, which contributes to the sense of calm and quiet you will experience even when the kids' computer games are beeping and the grown-ups are cheering over the big game on one of the many HDTVs. Tear yourself away from this scene of comfort to admire the well-stocked kitchen and dining areas (there are at least 2!) in this house. The kitchen is curved, filled with light, and boasting the latest stainless-steel appliances (including 2 fridges and a second sink in the central island). All you add is groceries; everything else, from cookware and dishes to chef's knives, gadgets, and countertop appliances, is ready for you here. Adjacent to the kitchen are two dining rooms, each with tables seating 6: one with a cozy breakfast-nook feel despite its large size and jaw-dropping views, and the other with even more panoramic vistas that suggest you are jutting out over a cliff! Hard to imagine a more spectacular setting for meals, games, and family gatherings. And while the common areas are lovely, the bedrooms at Dorthia Garden are designed for total comfort and pampering. The master suite includes a king-sized bed, full fireplace with a mantelpiece, inlaid viga ceiling, desk, pair of easy chairs, and en-suite bath featuring Jacuzzi, walk-in shower, towel warmer, and dual vanities. You will never want to leave! The other four bedrooms are all spacious and perfectly appointed, each with a queen-sized bed (one featuring a heavenly canopy, just right for the romantic in the group!) and access to one of the 4.5 bathrooms at Dorthia Garden. Luxe linens and towels await you here, plus a full laundry room to keep all those vacation togs fresh, no matter where your adventures take you. And the outdoor spaces are just as beautiful as the interior of this home. Several patios offer a mix of sun and shade for your enjoyment during the warmer months, and covered areas provide shelter when the snow begins. There is plenty of seating out here too, so consider dining al fresco and enjoying 360-degree views! Dorthia Garden may seem to be away from it all, but it's just a short drive north of the city, within easy reach of the Santa Fe Opera, Ski Santa Fe, and the myriad attractions of the Plaza area. No matter what your group wants to explore in northern New Mexico, you have the ideal home base for luxurious comfort when you stay at Dorthia Garden! Permit #17-00142452

Even if you plan to spend very little time cooking on this vacation, take a moment to appreciate the artistry as well as the fully stocked cupboards, utensil drawers, and spotless appliances just waiting for a willing chef. The dining room gets pride of place with seating for the whole group, and this long table may just become Vacation Command Center for your group. It's just too convenient -- there is room for laptops, tablets, planners, and Kindles . . . or, if your mode is more fun than work, games, journals, sketch pads, and puzzles! Oh, and if you actually want to eat here, rest assured that there are dishes, glasses, silverware, and all the trimmings enough to host a multi-course feast. (No pressure, though. Who can resist Santa Fe's mouth-watering restaurants and street food?) At the end of the evening, travel up the stairs to the open-plan master suite, where you will be wowed by a gorgeous inlaid viga ceiling, breezy ceiling fan, big private TV with DVD player, walk-in closet, and best of all, a thoroughly comfortable king-sized bed. If you sometimes have trouble sleeping well away from home, rest in assurance here! You will love this bed and your back will thank you in the morning. The en-suite bath is lovely too, with a walk-in shower and excellent lighting. Or, if you prefer a liquid massage, visit the Jacuzzi in the second bathroom, which is in the upstairs hall so that all may indulge! After a day on the slopes, hiking trails, or busy city streets, your muscles will appreciate a little pampering. The second bedroom offers a plump, comfy queen-sized bed and plenty of floor space, while the third contains a twin bed (made up as a daybed) with a pull-out trundle. Last-minute guests have a way of arriving when you visit Santa Fe, and at Vista del Cielo, you will be ready! And this house is stocked with just about everything you need to make your stay more enjoyable. A full-sized washer and dryer await your clothes; fresh linens and towels are at hand for every bed and bath, plus many extras; you have free WiFi here. No "roughing it" on this vacation! No residence in Santa Fe is complete without an outdoor area in which to enjoy the beautiful seasons, the fresh mountain breezes, and the crisp clear air. At Vista del Cielo, this space is a covered patio with dappled light and a European bistro-style table and chairs. Dine al fresco or bring a bottle of wine out here as the stars begin to pop out from the velvet sky. There is no better way to end a perfect day in northern New Mexico, whether snow is deep on the ground or the heat of the day is lifting off from the high desert. With all the glories of the historic city at your fingertips, you will love the convenience of staying here. But a great location is only the beginning of Vista del Cielo's many charms. Come stay here very soon and discover the bliss for yourself! Permit #17-00143315

Reviews: " It was the perfect place for our 3 couples of friends. We each had comfortable rooms and comfortable beds with our own bathrooms, and the shared kitchen, dining and living areas were comfortable and beautiful as well. Only wish we had had more time to enjoy the house - our stay was short. We would definitely all stay there again. - Barbra October 2016" " My siblings and I stayed at the Garcia Street Adobe for 4 nights for our annual reunion. This was possibly the best vacation property I've ever rented. The pictures and description were absolutely accurate. The house was inviting, comfortable, and private; we cooked in the house twice and found the kitchen to be excellently equipped. We also cooked outside on the grill one evening -- between eating fabulous meals in town -- we had great tapas at La Boca and sang Broadway melodies along with the singing staff at La Cantina at La Casa Sena. Highly recommend the Museum of International Folk Art, which has one of the largest collections of toys in the world, in fabulous displays. The location of the house is central and we found it very convenient - although very close to everything, we heard virtually no street noise, only lots of birds, and we all slept with windows open. The three bedrooms and bath are very well appointed and separated from each other, which gave us maximum privacy when we wanted it. The location is central and we found it very convenient - although very close to everything, we heard virtually no street noise, only lots of birds, and we all slept with windows open. This could not have been a better choice for us, and we all highly recommend it! This having been such a great experience, I would not hesitate to rent a property from Kokopelli again. - Ann, April 2015" " Garcia Street Adobe was the perfect vacation home to relax and get away from it all with family and friends. While not overstated, the decor was very New Mexican and you code tell a great deal of thought had gone into it. The 3 bedroom, 3 bath layout was perfect for our group of 3 of adult couples. We enjoyed dining in the dining room, resting on the patio and in the large, 2 area living room. We had a chef come make dinner one night because we enjoyed the house so much! A short walk to a coffee shop and bookstore, as well as to Canyon Road made this home a great place to spend the day around the neighborhood or to go off and explore all the wonders of New Mexico. Many, many times throughout the week we kept saying what a great house it is! With an automatic gate, and an adobe wall surrounding the property, it provides privacy, and yet is close to Canyon Road. Would definitely stay there again! - Karen, April 2014" " Outstanding in every way. We've already rented for next summer. - Mike, September 2013" " This house was the perfect home for our stay in Santa Fe! We had four adults (one couple, and two singles) and we were all very pleased with our rooms and our individual bathrooms! The home was very comfortable, well stocked (with high-end kitchen accessories), and it was in a great location with an easy walk into town! I hope to be able to stay here again! Thank you! - Laura, October 2012" " Great place for three couples. Everything we needed and expected. No contact with anyone after arrival, but that's ok. Will want to rent the same place another time. Thanks! - Burt, 5/11

Nestled in a pinon tree grove, Catch the Wind is a delightfully private, fully appointed family house just waiting for you. Designed for comfort, it's a sweet launchpad for your best Santa Fe vacay! You will feel as though you've truly come home when you enter the living room of Catch the Wind. The large central fireplace, which goes through to the dining room as well, glows and crackles, while the comfy leather easy chair, loveseat, and sofa urge you to flop down and revel in the pleasure of having no schedule to follow or errands to run. A big HDTV in one corner with DVD and CD players waits to show your favorite movies or the big game (Catch the Wind has satellite channels), but the kids may already be clearing off the coffee table for a lightning round of Jenga. Oh, the choices you must make on vacation! The sofa in this room folds out to a queen-sized bed for two, just in case you have visitors or the children want to "camp" one night. Of course, they will have to move you first -- chances are that whoever lies down on this couch will be snoozing happily long before bedtime! All this downtime calls for refreshment, and the cook in your group will be pleased with the kitchen arrangements at Catch the Wind. This house is more than 50 years old, but has been remodeled and refurbished with the latest appliances, leaving only its wonderful "bones"! So you will find wooden floors, stainless-steel appliances, granite countertops, a generous breakfast bar with stools for the sous-chefs and chopping squad, and a big double window looking out onto the fragrant, soughing pinons. And on a more practical note, a whole wealth of gadgets, tools, cookware, dishes, and everything else you need to prepare a feast! There's room for two cooks in here, not to mention ankle-biters who have already worked up an appetite in the healthy New Mexico foothills! When the food is ready, gather the troops in the dining room for an old-fashioned family meal . . . or let people carry their plates to wherever they have settled! That big table also makes a great spot to lay out a thousand-piece jigsaw puzzle, line up all the laptops and tablets, or let the kids go crazy with Legos and Polly Pockets. Catch the Wind is a beloved family house, and everything is sturdy and ready for action! You may have grand plans to stay up super late the first night, but no matter when you finally stagger off to bed, everyone will be grateful for their choice of beds at Catch the Wind. There are 3 bedrooms, 3 full baths, and a half-bath, so you don't have to schedule times for everyone to get ready, assembly-line fashion, in the morning. And that's good, because you may just oversleep in the comfort of your new mountain home! The master suite is a delight, and you will be congratulating yourself again and again for choosing this house as you sink into the decadent comfort of its king-sized bed. Two walls have big windows with soothing woodsy views, and there's a private door out to a little patio just made for two. Sneak a bottle of wine to your room and watch the moon rise! The master also has a big HDTV, exquisite carved furniture, a nice desk, and an en-suite bath with a vessel sink and both shower and tub. Not to be outdone, the guest room features a king-sized bed and private HDTV too, because why not? This is a sunnier room, with plenty of natural light. It accesses a full bath. And then there's the third bedroom, the one you will take the most pictures of and probably remember fondly. The queen-sized bed in here is bright and cheery, but not as bright as the beautiful hand-painted furniture! Truly unique, this room enchants children and adults alike. The padded window seat is a special place, great for reading, journaling, and doing absolutely nothing. A full bath serves this bedroom -- with magnificent painted cabinets and nice tiling around the shower and tub. And did we mention that all towels and linens are provided here, plus a washer and dryer? Pack light -- we've got extras and spares of most things! Catch the Wind has plenty of outdoor space, so you can turn the kids loose to run and yell, while the grown-ups enjoy al fresco dining at the big patio table. A large chiminea holds the promise of s'mores, and privacy walls keep your patio time intimate. There is so much room to breathe here, to stretch out and really relax! With all this space, it's hard to believe you are just minutes from the Plaza, the Santa Fe Opera, Ski Santa Fe, and all the other area attractions. Enjoy them all -- and then come home to Catch the Wind to catch your breath and recharge for even more adventures! You will love your time here; book today for best availability! Enter the terracotta-toned living room and you are immediately filled with a sense of beauty and calm. Big overstuffed leather furnishings -- the sofa opens into a queen-sized sleeper with super-comfy mattress -- surround a wood-burning kiva fireplace and Southwestern-style cotton rug. Two padded upright chairs offer additional seating (not to mention a view through double glass doors of one of the patios!), and discreet track lighting illuminates the artwork on the walls. Best of all, one bright corner is devoted to a wet bar, just waiting to whip up something frothy and refreshing for you after a long day sightseeing in Santa Fe or skiing in the mountains! Your crew will doubtless be starving when they get home, so bring along a bag of groceries and plan to use the state-of-the-art kitchen at Susan's Hideaway to devise mouth-watering appetizers or perhaps even a homemade meal. -- What's that you say? You aren't going to lift a single skillet during your Santa Fe vacation?! Good choice. Use the kitchen to reheat leftovers from northern New Mexico's stunning restaurants and to grab quick bites on the go. Coffeepot, microwave, toaster -- they will all help you fuel up and head out! (But if you should change your mind, the kitchen is a chef's dream of utensils, gadgets, dishes, and serving ware!) The kitchen includes a breakfast bar, which is a great place to get sous-chefs chopping those Farmer's Market veggies for fresh guacamole. It also doubles as a laptop station, play area for the kids, and journaling spot for early risers who need to be near the coffeepot at all times. A separate dining area offers a long, lovely tiled table that seats 8 when fully expanded. Now, in addition to hosting family feasts, this table has seen many rounds of Uno, many hard-fought battles of Monopoly, and more than its share of jigsaw puzzles. Spread out and make yourselves at home. You will have moments of downtime during your vacation -- fill them with the games and projects you never seem to have time for at home! The downstairs portion of Susan's Hideaway also includes one full bath (each master suite also has its own), easily accessible from all the common rooms. This is ideal for any guests sleeping on the foldout in the living room. This large bathroom also includes the washer and dryer, which stand ready to freshen up all your hard-working "play clothes." At the top of the stairs you will find a desk with plenty of space for your laptop or tablet. It's so convenient to have a dedicated workspace for those who must check email or do a few office tasks during vacation. And if everyone is truly free during your stay at Susan's Hideaway, what a great spot to begin gathering photos for the inevitable album called, "Our Perfect Santa Fe Vacation"! Susan's Hideaway offers not one but two master suites. After all, nobody wants a second-best bedroom, so here you have your choice: wonderful vs. wonderful. In one suite, you will find an ultra-luxurious king-sized bed with patio access through French doors, wall-mounted HDTV, and padded reading chair beside a good strong light. The en-suite bath includes a walk-in shower and pretty tiling. And the second master suite? Oh, that one has a king-sized bed too, a large wall-mounted HDTV, a bank of long windows with a bench below it for stargazing, and an en-suite bath with walk-in shower. So comfy, so inducive to long slumbers and late mornings! Susan's Hideaway is such a lovely and welcoming house that you may want to spend all your time indoors, but you should force yourself to sit outside on the big patio at least once. This space is quite private, with wicker rockers and both covered and uncovered areas, so you can adjust your seating depending on the weather. Another part of this patio offers a table for 6, shaded with an umbrella and featuring a grill for al fresco dining. And to top it off, there is a second, smaller balcony just off one of the master bedrooms upstairs. What a lovely place to sit and count the stars or watch the twinkling city lights before bed! Even though you are quite private at Susan's Hideaway, in truth you are in the heart of the city here, just half a mile from the Plaza and a stone's throw from fine galleries, shops, restaurants, and historic sites! Park and car and set out on foot -- your rambles will take you to all the lovely features of this New Mexico gem! Susan's Hideaway is luxurious without ostentation, perfectly furnished and decorated, and ideally located. There is simply no better place for your Santa Fe stay. The name says it all for this rustic, beautifully updated home. Sporting jaw-dropping views of the foothills and mountains, this New Mexico-style casita is the ideal base for your Santa Fe adventure. Bishop's Scenic Views is a charmingly decorated, thoroughly attractive and comfortable house -- but you will have to tear yourself away from the patio in order to see it, and that may be a serious challenge. Neatly enclosed within a low, rustic fence, the patio runs the length of the property and includes a luxe gas grill, an umbrella table that seats 6, several chaise longues, and a smattering of chairs and tables facing in several different directions, so you can enjoy the panorama of spectacular views. With front-row seats for the sunrise, the sunset, and the entire beautiful day in between, you will never want to leave this hilltop haven! When you finally go indoors, you will be in for a very pleasant surprise. Bishop's Scenic Views is a handsome, finely furnished and decorated house that combines the best of rustic charm (multiple fireplaces, wood furniture, and accents, beam ceilings) with contemporary efficiency and convenience (stainless-steel appliances, tiled walk-in shower and soaking tub, free WiFi, flat-screen TVs). Even its hilltop location with views of miles of the Tesuque foothills is deceptive because this house is just a 5-minute drive from the Santa Fe Plaza! Enter the high-ceilinged living room and you immediately feel comfortable among the cozy sofa (which converts to a bed for 2), leather armchair, and bright reading chairs all surrounding a coffee table just made for a family game of Catan or Go Fish. There's a TV, of course, but the room is dominated by the lovely fireplace and the huge glass windows (which occupy one entire wall!). This is a place equally beautiful in any season, inviting you to collapse into comfort and enjoy a little quiet time in the midst of all your Santa Fe excursions and events. Should you ever tire of Santa Fe's great restaurants and cafes, Bishop's Scenic Views offers a state-of-the-art kitchen and separate dining area in which to prepare and enjoy home cooked meals. Gleaming stainless-steel appliances, the full complement of utensils, dishes, and flatware, and everything else you might need to cook a gourmet meal awaits you here. Or, if you have sworn off cooking during your vacation, take advantage of the blender for frothy drinks, the microwave for late-night leftover feasts, and the coffeepot for getting up and out in the morning! The kitchen is bordered on one side by a breakfast bar, just right for lining up your sous-chefs to do the chopping and provide light entertainment while you whip up delectable nibbles and drinks. Children seem to gravitate toward these high, comfy stools, so the breakfast bar has also been known to serve as a Lego building site, a coloring table, and a Polly Pocket habitat! For the grown-ups in the group, the dining room offers nicely padded, high-backed chairs around a handsome wood table. This is a place to linger long after the plates are clean and the wine is gone. Plan the next day's adventures, reminisce, and enjoy one another's company far from all the distractions of "real" life! There is so much to do and see in Santa Fe that you will probably be ready for bed long before you want to be each night. Luckily, the bedrooms at Bishop's Scenic Views are spacious, inviting, and quiet. Whether you are in the master suite or the huge guest room, you will find yourself actually looking forward to sinking onto the soft sheets every night! Both bedrooms have a full working fireplace, beamed ceilings, big windows, and personal TVs. The master suite also offers a sumptuous queen-sized bed, two plush reading chairs, a work desk, and access to the patio. The bathroom is state-of-the-art and gleaming, with a tiled walk-in shower, a deep soaking tub (heaven!), and his-and- her basins. Spread out your toiletries and don't worry about scheduling "get ready time" in the morning -- this bathroom is more than adequate for two. The guest bedroom is every bit as luxurious as the master, featuring 2 twin beds, a cozy fireplace, a deep snuggly reading chair, TV, and a long bank of windows with terrific views. Guests in this room enjoy a full bath, including a combination tub and shower and a separate powder area. Bishop's Scenic Views is a paradise of comfort and beauty, perfectly located hilltop just north of Santa Fe. Come for the panoramic vista and stay for all the great sights and events of the city, not to mention your own celebrations with family and friends at this roomy, beautifully appointed home.

Glorious mountain views just minutes from the Plaza await you here! This condo brings you the warmth and comfort of home in an exciting new location. The Spanish-style design and easy-access single-story layout welcome you into rooms dominated by large windows, smooth tile floors, and buttery-toned walls. You'll find Artist Road #31 lovingly decorated and spotlessly clean, just waiting for you to flop down and make yourself comfortable. All the attractions of New Mexico may bring you here, but Artist Road #31 will make you yearn for an excuse to spend a little time indoors, too! The living room, dining area, and kitchen are all combined at Artist Road #31, so your group stays together even when some are cooking, others watching a show on the flat-screen, and the rest working a jigsaw at the big, well-lighted table. There's plenty of room to carve out individual spaces in this arrangement, yet everyone is together, enjoying the precious downtime that is so important to a successful vacation. Let the kids glom onto their phones while the grown-ups chat over a glass of wine and some delicious nibbles. You can stretch out and relax at Artist Road #31! You'll quickly find your favorite spot in the living room, whether it's the recliner, the rocker chair, or the long, sink-right- in sofa (which contains a queen-sized fold-out bed). Or perhaps you enjoy being near the heart of the big, lovely wood-burning fireplace. In winter, you will find cords of firewood waiting for you, and no doubt a cry will go up for s'mores. Save time and pick up the fixings along the way -- dieting is strictly prohibited within these walls! The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances, utensils, and dishware for all your meal prep and serving needs. The chef in your group will be delighted . . . or if that chef is off-duty, remember that downtown Santa Fe, in all its culinary glory, is just minutes away! Even if you just use the space for snacks and leftovers, you'll appreciate how nicely appointed the kitchen is. Easy to brew some coffee, microwave last night's feast, load the dishwasher, and be out the door in no time! Oh -- and did we mention the stacked washer and dryer, ready for loads of clothes? And the sleeping quarters will please your entire group. The sofa sleeper in the living room has the advantages of mountain views (and access to treats in the kitchen!) and shares a full bath in the hall with the second bedroom. This bath has a tub, ideal for smaller children who don't like showers and older folks who appreciate a good long soak after a day on the slopes. All towels and linens are provided for every bed and bath, of course -- all you need do is enjoy! The master suite is spacious and restful at Artist Road #31, with a king-sized bed, a TV for when the game runs long or you crave a late-night movie and a private phone. Its en-suite bath includes a tub/shower combo and plenty of storage space. But the second bedroom, not to be outdone, offers a split king -- a bed you can connect or separate into twins -- plus its own TV, a handsome roll-top desk, and breathtaking views from the big windows. As cozy and comfortable as the interior of Artist Road #31 is, you may find that the exterior is your favorite place. There is a covered patio facing the mountains -- with brilliant views of both the sunrise and sunset, not to mention the alpenglow -- that you may just find irresistible. This is the place you'll gravitate to in the morning, half awake, that first cup of coffee in hand. You'll probably want to return at lunch, just to see how the light has changed on the foothills and listen to the birds calling in the chaparral. And in the evening, as shadows lengthen, you'll savor the fresh breezes and quiet beauty of the landscape from your own private nook. It's the perfect place to watch the snow fall or the heat waves shimmer. Once you arrive at Artist Road #31, your drive time is about over. You can be at Ski Santa Fe in minutes, or you can stroll along any of the hiking trails that begin mere yards from your front back door. If you want to find a new restaurant or do a little window shopping, the Plaza is about 6 city blocks from the condo. Art galleries, jewelry shops, incredible dining experiences, luxurious spas, and so much more await you in downtown Santa Fe! Live like a local at Artist Road #31, and leave with your batteries recharged and your spirit renewed. Note: Do you have a large group? You might want to rent the next-door condo, #30, as well!

El Nido Lane Tesuque A 1-bedroom casita in the quiet, upscale Tesuque Village neighborhood, El Nido Lane Tesuque is ideal for a honeymoon or other romantic getaway. Built 120 years ago, the adobe home has been impeccably restored; when you stay here, you’ll feel as if you’ve been swept away to a far-off paradise. Yet it’s within walking distance of restaurants, galleries, and shops, as well as just a 15-minute drive to downtown Santa Fe. An adobe wall surrounds El Nido Lane Tesuque and its gorgeously landscaped courtyard, ensuring privacy and quiet. You’ll find numerous seating areas and patios where you can laze in the sun or enjoy drinks and dinner in the shade. Think of it as The Secret Garden transplanted to the Southwest! The interior is no less dazzling, with its viga ceiling beams, wide-planked wood floors, adobe walls, shuttered windows, and in the kitchen, traditional floor and wall tiles. The furnishings of the large living room are both comfortable and elegant. You’ll love snuggling on the sofa to watch a movie on the large flat-screen TV with cable, especially in winter, when the wood-burning kiva fireplace imbues the room with a warm glow. The kitchen/dining area is another roomy, welcoming space, with 2 tables and modern appliances, cookware, and tableware. Sure, numerous acclaimed restaurants are merely a stroll away (including the wildly popular Tesuque Village Market and El Nido). Once you see how charming this dining space is, though, you might want to eat most of your meals in. If you need to catch up on work (or want to post photos of the charming casita online), you can set up your laptop here or in the small office; El Nido Lane Tesuque has free WiFi for your convenience. And speaking of convenience, the home has its own washer and dryer as well. The bedroom is just as restful and romantic as the rest of El Nido Lane Tesuque. The king-size 4-poster bed invites you to turn in early and sleep late. The adjacent bathroom is, like the kitchen, beautifully tiled; lingering in its tub will be a pleasure, especially after a day on the go. We’ll provide all the clean towels you could possibly need, as well as bedding; leave yours at home where they belong. The Tesuque Village neighborhood has the dual advantages of being conveniently close to numerous attractions and being far enough from downtown that you can relax away from the hubbub. From El Nido Lane Tesuque you can walk to several art galleries, including Shidoni Foundry and Gallery, Glenn Green Galleries and Sculpture Garden, and Tesuque Glass Works. The Santa Fe Opera is just a few miles away, as is Camel Rock Casino. Santa Fe Plaza, the galleries of Canyon Road, the Palace of the Governors, Loretto Chapel, and numerous other must-sees are also only minutes away by car. As for outdoor adventures, you can be on the hiking trails of Atalaya Mountain or the slopes of Ski Santa Fe in no more than 45 minutes. Once you settle in at El Nido Lane Tesuque, though, you may want to spend most of your stay luxuriating in its lush courtyard and time-honored charm. And why not? It’s your vacation, so enjoy it however you like—and you’ll definitely enjoy staying at El Nido Lane Tesuque. So book your reservation today… before someone else gets to it first!
