Bainbridge Island Accommodations

Bainbridge Island is a city in Kitsap County, Washington, for those looking for a place with various activities for that special vacation that has been on plan for a long time. It has got to be a unique one where you get a chance to experience new activities and have the same or even better comfort then at home. It is better yet when you do not have to worry about getting an accommodation that can suit yourself and your family. An ideal accommodation is one that can be like a home away from home. Condo rentals and apartment rentals are ideal because you have access to many amenities. Ranging from luxurious to extravagant; vacation rentals and apartment rentals are preferable when booking a vacation at Bainbridge Island.

Four Attractions at Bainbridge Island:

-Bloedel Reserve

The Bloedel Reserve is a 150-acre (0.6 km2) forest garden on Bainbridge Island, Washington, made by the vice-chairman of a lumber company, under the influence of the conservation movement and Asian philosophy. Prentice and Virginia Bloedel wished to 'capture the essence of the Japanese garden - the qualities of naturalness, subtlety, reverence, tranquility - and construct a Western expression of it'. Although the Reserve includes a traditional Japanese garden, the Bloedels' approach for the rest of the property stands in contrast to that of 'Japanese gardens' which achieve their effects through the use of ornament. The Bloedel Reserve is an unique attraction in a perfect vacation spot with lodging such as condo rentals, chalet rentals and private vacation home rentals.

-Fay Bainbridge State Park

Fay Bainbridge Park is located on the northeast tip of Bainbridge Island, Washington, immediately south of the Point Monroe sand spit. The park comprises 16.84 acres (68,100 m2) of land, including 1,420 feet (432 m) of saltwater shoreline along Puget Sound. The park offers sweeping views of Puget Sound, the Cascade Mountains and two volcanoes: Mount Rainier and Mount Baker. The park is popular for beachcombing, boating, camping, fishing, crabbing and scuba diving. In 2011 the park was transferred by the state to the Bainbridge Island Metropolitan Park and Recreation District. This park is a spectacular viewing point! Search for condo rentals or chalet rentals on the last Minute Deals will keep you from missing these amazing experiences.

-Fort Ward

Fort Ward is a former United States Army coastal artillery fort, and later, a Navy installation located on the southwest side of Bainbridge Island, Washington, along Rich Passage. Many visitors to the Island choose to rent their accommodations directly from owners of vacation homes specially apartment rental type.

-Fort Ward Park :Covering 137 acres (0.55 km2) of dense forest and underbrush, it is an area full of beauty. Impressive views of Rich Passage, the Olympic Mountains and varied marine wildlife can be seen at the park. Common activities include boating, fishing, picnicking, jogging, walking and bicycling. Clam digging, bird watching and scuba diving are other favorite activities of park visitors. Do not miss anything here! Go to your chalet rental when you need it and travel up and down as you wish.
Owner Direct Vacation Rentals is a unique vacation home rental "matching service" that makes finding a perfect vacation rental, apartment rental and chalet rental for this kind of experiences quick and easy.

You will find your vacation lodging among all this amazing sites; condo rentals and full sized homes provide you with the vacation rental accommodation to suit your needs, no matter what your criteria is for the accommodations.
