Black Mountain is an alpine ski area located in Jackson, New Hampshire.
It offers terrain for all abilities, including slopes for novices, cruising trails for intermediates, and black diamond trails for experts. The terrain is served by two chairlifts and two surface lifts. Slopeside accommodations and lodging are widely available and range from vacation rentals, condo rentals to chalet rentals.

The mountain statistics include 143 acres of skiable terrain with four lifts; triple & double chair, platter pull, J-Bar. 45 Trails & glades with a southern exposure and summit elevation of 3,303 feet with the highest skiable elevation of 2,350 feet.

It is well known for being a great family hike with distances on both the Black Mtn. Trail and the Chippewa Trail being very moderate compared to many of the other White Mountains
. Out of the two trails the Black Mountain is the easier trail while the Chippewa Trail is a steeper but more scenic trail. The summit has absolutely gorgeous views of Mt. Mooselauke and Mt. Kinsman in the East and the Upper Connecticut River Valley and the town of Woodsville in the West.
