The town plays host to the famous Breckenridge Ski Resort which features 30 lifts, 155 ski trails and a stunning 2358 acres of winter playground complete with varying degrees of difficulty and five freestyle terrain parks. The base elevation is 9,600 feet with a high alpine climate with daytime temperatures averaging -5ºc in the winter and 20ºc in the summer. But there’s more to this resort than just a beautiful chalet rental.

During the snowy months visitors can also explore the Country Boy Mine or take a tour of the mountain trails on a dogsled. In the summer the town hosts a variety of Rocky Mountain festivals and boasts the country’s only 27 hole Jack Nicklaus designed municipal course.
