    The Sevier River Retreat is a secluded and luxurious ranch house that sits on 9 acres surrounded by the Sevier River on 3 sides, and close to Bryce Canyon and Zion. The house looks directly at the back of Bryce Canyon and the Sevier River. Most windows in the house have a view, and there are no neighbors. The property was entirely renovated, decorated and furnished in 2015 with an neo-industrial/farm style mixing wood and metal. The house features accents of barnwood (most of it from the property itself) and many of the furniture pieces and lighting fixtures were custom made from local artisans using reclaimed barnwood. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms (the master bathroom has a jacuzzi tub and separate tiled shower) and a half bath, with a size of approximately 1800 sf. The house offer all the amenities of home including high speed wifi (30 Mbps) throughout the house, four LCD flatscreen TVs that offer Netflix and Amazon Video streaming service (no broadcast, cable or satellite channels), as well as Pandora for music and ambiance. We provide many extras for our guests, such as a printer to print out itineraries and boarding passes, cellphone chargers, reverse osmosis drinking water, locally made artisan soaps, shampoo, coffee from the region and much more. The gourmet kitchen features stainless steel appliances and is well equipped for cooking lavish meals and baking treats in the convection oven. Washer and dryer is also provided. Relax in the hot tub, and then stretch out in front of the fireplace. Views of the Salt Lake valley abound from the balcony and dramatic, many-windowed living area. NOTE: If you visit in winter, a 4x4 vehicle is required. You will need it to make it up the steep hill leading to our house. INSIDE THE HOUSE An impressive entry leads directly into the spacious and open living room. Find beamed ceilings, a gas fireplace, and amazing floor-to-ceiling windows that provide the show-stopping valley views. An L-shaped couch and armchair seating for 7 makes for a great gathering place to discuss the day’s runs or to plan for the next. The living room is TV-free so you can enjoy the views and quiet. But fear not. There’s another living area downstairs, and this one has a big flat-screen and a plush sofa to sink into—great for a movie night. Even better There’s a pool table in this 2nd living area, too. There’s also a seating nook next to the kitchen with a chaise and a flatscreen—great for a good book or movie. Ready to eat This home handles both casual meals and gourmet affairs. The dining table seats 6 and is adjacent to the kitchen for easy serving. The kitchen island has a large granite counter prep space and additional eating area with barstool seating for 4. Stainless appliances and top of the line built-ins make meals of all kinds a breeze. This home has 5 bedrooms and sleeps up to 10—all in beds. The master bedroom, on the main level, is extra-special with its en-suite bath, sitting area with a gas fireplace, direct deck access, and a king-size bed. A TV is tucked away in the walk-in closet. There’s another 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths on the lower level. Two have queen beds, one has a king, and one has two twin beds. One bathroom (shared between one of the queen bedrooms and the king bedroom) has a walk-in shower; the other (shared between the other queen bedroom and the twin bedroom) features a tub/shower combo. But our favorite feature of this home The many balconies and decks facing grand views of the valley in all its year-round splendor. On the mid-level balcony, you’ll find a propane BBQ/smoker, and on the lower level, a hot tub. THE LOCATION Our central location puts you within a short drive from many adventures. World-class skiing and snowboarding are just a 20-25 minute drive away—from Alta to Snowbird to Brighton and Solitude. And we’re just about a 35-minute drive to Park City. Or stick close to home.
