It is your own private paradise located in one of the most beautiful places in the country to live. This estate is perfect for weddings, corporate events, or for those wanting to relax in a beautiful setting while visiting or working in the greater Seattle area. Bellevue is 15 minutes away, Microsoft is 10 minutes, Puget sound is 15 minutes, the location is prime. There is no comparable property on the market. This is truly a one of a kind location. The #48 bus goes west along 85th street to the University of Washington, or east towards Golden Gardens beach. Washington highway 99 (Aurora Ave.) is the best way to get downtown by car. Seattle has convenient light rail service between downtown and the airport. The light rail stops in the downtown bus tunnel underneath Westlake shopping center. A birdwatcher’s dream, eagles and herons await your visit. Our expansive lawn rolls gently to the shore and offers easy access to a dock and buoy for swimming and boating fun. Splash in the water and you might catch a glimpse of adorable seals and sea otters. Crabbing and clamming are just a few minutes boat ride away. We’re close enough to shops, restaurants, and the ferry terminal that you can easily access an array of dining and entertainment in downtown Winslow, Poulsbo or Seattle, yet far enough away from the city to feel like a true ocean escape – our expansive lawn rolls gently to the shore and offers easy access to a dock for swimming and boating fun. Crabbing and clamming are just a few minutes boat ride away. INSIDE THE HOUSE The great room, an expansive space meant for living and dining, is warm and inviting, with a wall of oversized windows for gorgeous views of the bay. Settle down in front of the fireplace and watch a film on the TV mounted above the mantel, or read your first edition of Moby Dick and dream of the sea. The kitchen, open to the great room, is well equipped for gourmet cooking, with granite countertops, double ovens, a gas range, a handy pot filler mounted above the stove and a roomy butler’s pantry. Take your meals at the simple yet elegant dining area just off the kitchen, with seating for 6. You’ll find an additional, relaxed living area upstairs complete with a couch, desk, and TV. Great for families vacationing with kids. Our house has 3 comfortable bedrooms, all furnished with queen-size beds. The bedroom looks out onto the backyard and the ocean beyond. All three bedrooms share the upstairs full and half-bath, and an additional full and half-bath are located downstairs. You may want to spend all your time outdoors; our house boasts an expansive patio with Adirondack chairs for watching boats drift by on the bay. Grill out on the BBQ and play a game of Frisbee or badminton on the sprawling lawn, or take a dip at our private beach. OUR LOCATION The ferry to Seattle is only minutes away, but the shops and restaurants of nearby Winslow, mean you never have to leave the island. Try the Pub for organic eats and craft beers, or the nearby Docs for seaside dining favorites. For a real maritime experience, crabbing and clamming are just a 10-minute boat ride or 4-mile drive away. Nothing tastes better than seafood you’ve caught yourself. If a tipsy turn of events sounds like a good time, try sampling at several island wineries and breweries including Eleven and Rolling Bay Wineries, Bainbridge Island Brewing and many more.

INSIDE THE HOUSE The main living and dining space, furnished in attractive Danish Modern style, enjoys a panoramic view of Salmon Bay and the Olympic Mountains. Relax over coffee in the living room, with a decorative original mid-century fireplace. Fantastic views continue into the dining room, which accommodates up to 8. As for cooking, you’ll find everything you need in the fully equipped kitchen, complete with stainless steel appliances, lots of counter space, and a kitchen bar that seats 2. Venture downstairs for the entertainment area, complete with 50 inch flat screen Smart TV, DVD player, and cable, plus a cozy reading corner. Our house sleeps 6 guests between 3 sunlit bedrooms. You’ll find queen-sized beds in the master and 3rd bedroom. The 2nd bedroom has 2 twins: perfect for kids and teens. THE LOCATION We’re located near lots of family fun. Woodland Park Zoo is a 6 block walk away (say hello to its new tigers!). For prospective students and their families, the University of Washington is only 2.5 miles from our door. And be sure to stop by the Ballard Sunday Farmers Market for fresh cut flowers, fruits and vegetables to enjoy at home. When you’re ready to explore downtown Seattle, the bus is only 4 blocks away.

Even better Downtown Seattle is just a 15 to 20-minute drive away (depending on traffic)! INSIDE THE CONDO The warm, open living room seats 6 on two couches and includes a flat screen TV and wood-burning fireplace. Comfy carpets throughout cushion your feet. From here, slide open the glass doors to the patio, complete with propane grill and a pair of chairs. The fully loaded kitchen includes an earthy stonework backsplash, barstool seating for 3, stainless steel appliances and dark granite countertops. Right next to the kitchen is a dark wood dining room table with seating for 4. An elegant master bedroom features a queen-sized bed with bold wooden frame, big bright windows, and a desk in case you brought work to do (we also have free WiFi!). Stand under the rainfall shower head in the en-suite, master bathroom or head to the second bathroom for a shower/tub combo. The modern 2nd bedroom has two twin beds with built in drawers and a massive closet. THE LOCATION Downtown Bellevue is just a quick walk from our rental, which means there is plenty to do and see. Skip cooking and head out to Daniel’s Broiler for high-end food with mountain and city views, or try something new at Black Bottle, a lofty gastropub with globally influenced meals—both within an 8 minute walk away. Afterward, indulge at Vavako Chocolate Shop or at Fran’s Chocolates. Don’t forget to save a day for downtown Seattle. Visit the Space Needle, watch fresh fish fly at Pike Place Market, or have a romantic, skyline-view picnic at Gas Works Park—all of this is just a 20 minute-drive from home.
