They have tours through both the original Manor House/Museum and the octagonal cow barn, that was ahead of it's time 100 years ago, which has been rebuilt. Yes, those cows were stylin' 100 years ago. From the barn there is a hike up to Shorts Creek Falls where The Laird of Fintry, James Cameron Dun-Waters, also created some of the first electricity in the Okanagan.For Fintry Delta. Sugarloaf Mountain, a couple of miles to the north, is also a nice hike, though a bit longer. Terrace Mountain, the highest peak in the Okanagan, is close by and an interesting drive to the top where you can see the whole Valley from Kelowna to Vernon. There is also a nice walk waiting right outside your door around the neighbourhood or pathways through the forest. There are Adirondak chairs and a picnic table, with an umbrella, on the large dock. On the beach is also a picnic table as well as benches around a nice fire pit with firewood close by. It is a nice quiet spot where you won't hear traffic but maybe the chirping of birds in the morning or maybe a loon chanting in the evening as well as this year's ducklings or goslings swimming with their new proud parents during the day. You may also see some deer on or around the property. If you're an early riser you could watch a sunrise across the lake coming up behind Silver Star Mountain, on the other side of Vernon. The sun is on the dock until early evening when it goes behind the mountains in the west when you can kick back, relax and review all the fun you had that day

The resort style pool and hot tub common area with lounge chairs are excellent for suntanning and the umbrella patio furniture can shade you when needed. The amazing lakefront walk is just across the street, and be sure to bring your camera as you will enjoy herons; ducks osprey and fish as you make your way to the nearby Tugboat Bay Beach. If you dont want to enjoy the water in the private pool area you can make your way Tugboat Bay and splash in the lake or suntan on the sandy beach. Hiking and mountain biking is a cinch on nearby Knox Mountain. If you want your own private time you can enjoy the patio with plush deck furnishings and BBQ. The private patio is shaded during the heat of the day so you can enjoy a book or just have a nap in the breeze. Everything is so handy, just park your vehicle in the underground parking area and walk to the village in 5 minutes. The condo is on the ground level so loading and unloading gear is a snap. Ski-in ski-out to the Ridge Rocket express and Snow Ghost chairlifts so popping into the condo for a hot chocolate, lunch, or snack takes no time at all. With four bedrooms plus a den it is ideal for 2 families. The outdoor hot tub is just steps up the hallway stairs and is rarely busy with other patrons. Many quests come back year after year. The house is located in a residential neighborhood, and we ask our guests to respect this situation. The house is not a party house, but a quality place to stay. Excessive noise and "potty" language is not tolerated by the neighbors. Minutes from downtown, yet in a country setting with lake and valley views, the level access home invites you to relax, rest and enjoy your stay. The home is very well built (brand new as of Nov 2010) with many green environmentally friendly features. It is quite cozy to stay in, with the natural tone colors, bamboo wood floors, antique and contemporary furnishings, & NG fireplace. The kitchen has all the cooking and bake ware with all the "crockery" needed. The laundry room has new front loading clothes washer and dryer, with a laundry-folding counter-top and an iron/ironing board is provided. The great room has a big screen projection TV/Stereo and really comfy couches. There is an office desk center with WiFi and Wired internet, computer, scanner/copier/fax & portable phones. The phone allows unlimited North American calling. The upstairs bedrooms have a portable phone and an IPOD clock radio docking station. For guests there is ample off street parking of sedan style cars. 2 inside the garage, 2 in front of the garage and 1 along side the sidewalk. Storage is available for repeat visitors in the basement. Downstairs - 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a lounge (chaise lounge) area with TV/DVD, pool table and two eating/card dining tables in the basement, There are hiking trails and a park nearby. This complex borders Mountainside Golf Course, 17th fairway, Riverside and Creekside are a 3 minute drive. 20 minutes takes you to Copper Point, Copper Ridge, Eagle Ranch. Radium resort course and the Springs are another ten minutes. One hour takes you to St Eugene, Trickle Creek, Shadow Mountain. The ski hill of Fairmont is perfect for the family and is a 10 min drive up the mountain, and Panorama is a mere 40 min away. Kimberley and Cranbrook are 50 min. The world famous Fairmont Hot Springs Pools are a 5 minute hike up the hill or a 2 minute drive. After a day of fun, return home to relax in the condo with everything you could possibly need. It feels and looks like home...A place to relax, regroup, recoup in a busy hectic life. Staring at mountains is like staring at a fire...It has healing and calming powers. Just 50 feet from my condo.**** Here are a couple of reviews of my place from guests that have stayed: Our short stay was really great. The location was perfect, easy walk to the lake and beach and grocery store. The condo was clean, well stocked and had absolutely everything we needed. The description and pictures were accurate. The owner was extremely helpful and was quick to answer any questions we had. Our family of 6 had a great time and would love to make it a yearly family holiday. Our week in OK Falls Skaha Lake Paradise was amazing. The accommodations were excellent and the proximity to various activities made our stay exciting and lots of fun.
