Put your boots on in the condo, grab your skis/boards from the locker on the way to the elevator, step outside and hit the slopes. It’s true ski-in, ski-out even for night skiing on the only lit trail on the mountain. Ski into the village in 30 seconds or walk there in 3 minutes. Park the car inside and never have to start it again, even for groceries. Walk or ski to dinner, walk or ski back to the condo. Everything is close. For summer, we are steps from the mountain bike trails and of course the village. With locked underground parking for your car and your bikes. Downhill ride to the first chair of the day and ride the trails right by the condo when you want to stop for lunch or at the end of the day. Its the best location on the mountain. We take concerns about the pandemic seriously. Prior to each arrival, we will wipe down all hard surfaces, door handles and remotes with antiseptic wipes. All linens and towels are sanitized prior to use as well. The kitchen is properly equipped to be able to prepare every meal in the condo. Besides proper pots/pans & knifeblock, there is a slow cooker, blender, three rack oven and plenty of utensils/cutlery, In our condo, the living room is large with plenty of seating, flat screen TV, Cable, Blu-ray DVD and a fireplace. The deck off the living room has beautiful views up the mountain, but we are surrounded by trees so it’s quiet and private. Enjoy the panoramic views from the corner suite windows and sliding door patio from both the living room and the dining room. There is a queen in the master bedroom. The second bedroom is spacious with a single over double bunk and a single bed over double futon couch for the kids. There is a second flat screen TV in the kid’s bedroom with its own cable box and “on demand” programming as well as a Wii. The younger snow adventurers can retreat to the futon couch in the bedroom to watch TV and relax while the parents can enjoy wind down time in front of the fire. Blackout blinds in the bedrooms if you need to sleep past first chair. We have a fully equipped kitchen with plenty of dishes, pots, pans, cutlery, kettle, a carafe coffee maker with timer and a dishwasher. Ultra-high-speed internet is included in the suite. This is a top floor Corner unit on the back of the building, no street noise, nobody above us and plenty of privacy. It’s comfortable, quiet, relaxing & peaceful.     Our vacation rental home is just a short walk to Kinsmen beach and Invermere's unique shopping and dining, close to everything yet far enough from the train tracks to not be disturbed. The house is a 1920's Kootenay National Park two-story house that was moved from Radium Hot Springs and has had lots of updates. The spacious interior is warm and charming, with original character hardwood floors, and a full height double-sided fireplace. The large yard has numerous trees, which shade the house on hot summer days. Our home has 4 bedrooms and two full bathrooms. There is a king-size bed and bunk-bed in the large master bedroom with plenty of room for a playpen, 2 bedrooms with queen-size beds, and one bedroom with a double bed and a single bed. There is also a hide-a-bed in the family room. We can accommodate 8 adults or groups up to 10 people of adults and children. All bedding, linens, towels and pillows are provided. The full-size, fully equipped kitchen has an island and cook-top. Basic spices, coffee, coffee filters, sugar and tea are provided. There is a double-sided wood-burning fireplace that faces the kitchen on one side, and the living room on the other side. Upstairs there is a TV room with lots of videos and board games for the kids. High speed wireless internet and NetFlix are available. The large, fenced yard has lots of trees that offers privacy for family fun. There is a large spacious deck with patio tables, chairs and a propane BBQ at the front of the house, a smaller deck off the living room, and a balcony/deck with chairs on the upper level. There is a fire-pit in the backyard (firewood provided). Patio table and chairs are provided. There is an on-site property manager (who lives in a self-contained basement suite) who can assist with emergencies.

It is easily accessible from the garden, and is spacious enough to entertain on, tie up your boat and still enjoy water sports. There is a buoy available to secure a boat, along with a paddle boat to get you back and forth. There is a marina five minutes away by car that has a boat launch and basic alcohol and supplies, in addition to a full service grocery store and gas station 10 minutes away by car. As the front wall of the house is mainly glass, there are views of the lake from every room, and two large double French doors allow access to the living room and master bedroom off the covered deck. With these doors open, there is a feeling of indoor/outdoor living. The living room, dining room (seats 10) and kitchen are an open plan, again allowing great views of the lake, forests and hills. The kitchen has a large island that seats four, and is a great gathering spot to cook and enjoy conversation. The master bedroom on the main floor includes a queen bed, en-suite bathroom with soaker tub, shower and double sink. Also off the living room is a family room where guests can enjoy watching TV, playing foosball, doing puzzles and playing games. There is a second bathroom on the main floor with a shower, sink and toilet.There are three bedrooms on the second floor. Two have queen beds, and the third has two upper and lower twin bunk beds plus a crib.The bathroom on this level has a soaker tub/shower, sink and toilet.     This property is the guest cabin on the same property as the main house. The rental cabin is at the back of the property, behind and slightly offset from the main house. It is on a quiet, private shared lane. Although the rental cabin does not sit directly on the beach, you can walk across the property, through a garden and down to the lake in less than a minute. You have a partial view of the lake from the cabin, deck and patio. The last part of the walk to the beach consists of a combination of 3 landings and 25 wide, brick steps. The beach consists mostly of small pebbles and rocks. Shuswap Lake is known for its calm, warm, clear water. Our beach does not have a drop off area and it is suitable for young children.The main shopping destination is Salmon Arm, a 40 minute drive by car from the cabin. The cabin is across the lake from Sicamous, a 15 minute boat trip away. The barbecue, dock, a buoy, picnic table near the beach, two kayaks and a canoe are available for your use. Campfires are allowed on the beach unless a provincial burn ban is in effect. A boat launch for a fee is available at Totem Resort, 5 minutes away. Basic groceries and marine gas are also available at Totem Resort. The cabin has one bedroom with a queen sized bed. It also has a double futon in the common area. It works well for 2 adults. For 4 adults, or a family with 2 children, 2 need to sleep on the futon in the common area which can be darkened with blinds and/or blackout fabric (provided by owner). There is a small space in the bedroom if you are 2 adults with a very young child who can sleep on the floor in the bedroom. (you provide mattress or padding) All spaces in the cabin are on one level except the futon which is 4 steps down. This is a pet free, smoke free cabin. You may have one dog with you if the dog is comfortable staying outside the cabin at all times. The dog would need to be secured in a crate or on a leash at night on one of the decks.
