The little hamlet of Edgewater is one of the older communities in the Columbia Valley. Don’t be surprised when you see deer and elk crossing the road. Every Saturday there is a market. Roads do not access this area; therefore, hiking on the 85 miles (137 kilometers) of trails in the undisturbed wilderness of the Kootenay National Park is a sheer pleasure. You may well meet horseback riders along the way. After a day in the great outdoors, return to your accommodations, sit in the hot tub, and enjoy some refreshment. Afterwards, go to your room and tuck yourself between the sheets of your comfortable bed. Vacation rentals can be nice and quiet. BioBio suite has its own entrance and a fenced in yard separate from the yard of the main house. It has a lovely private patio. The suite has lots of natural light from its many windows. We designed the suite with In-floor geothermal heating, air exchange for the best indoor air quality and comfort of our guests. Only the best materials were used: solid wood, stone, low VOC paints to make for the healthiest environment possible.
