It is also a great area for Winter Texans and Snowbirds. There are three bedrooms, and a full bathroom is just across the hall, from two of the bedrooms. Located a quick 15-minute drive from Austin’s Bergstrom International Airport with easy access (~10 minutes) to downtown, the University of Texas campus or the Texas State Capital. Or stay in and enjoy the 108” projection screen home theater and plenty of spaces to hang out, both inside and out. INSIDE THE HOUSE The main entry opens into a cozy dining/tea room with seating for 6. A staircase leads to 2 of the bedrooms as well as the home theater. To the left of the stairs is a convenient powder room, and to the right, a 4th bedroom/office. If you need to get work done, this space is equipped with a WiFi-equipped printer, plus a queen size futon/sleeper to sleep 2 guests. The tipis are amazing. There are 5 in total surrounding a stock tank pond located on 4.5 acres that borders the beautiful spring-fed Geronimo Creek. This Tipis has 3 queen beds Great for family getaways or rent all 5 tipis for larger groups. They look like a traditional tipi from the outside but inside they are fully furnished and have all the conveniences of modern day living including air conditioning, heating, basic satellite TV, kitchenette with sink, under-counter refrigerator, stove top and extra large toaster oven. Each Tipi comes with its own private bathroom with a large walk in tiled shower. The bathroom is located in a separate building, all of the tipis have their own private bathroom. This property is an oasis of peace and fun nestled in the pecan trees overlooking a babbling creek in the heart of nature and on the edge of Texas Hill Country. We also have 4 tree-house cabins (1 bedroom with a loft) on the property and a 3 bedroom house for rent. Bring your suntan lotion and lay out on our sundeck, or grab a chair, tube, or raft and enjoy our natural rock sill, it is a great place to chill in the water and watch the tubers go by. Direct River Access at each house so it is perfect for playing or just relaxing as you watch others float in the river. Also you can enter the river here and exit at a variety of places up and down the river. There are also shuttle services also available in the area to return you to the property. Downtown New Braunfels/Gruene offers fine dining establishments, entertainment, and numerous activities. Gruene Hall is the oldest dance hall in Texas and a famous landmark. Gruene also offers great shopping, restaurants and wine tasting. Close to the outlet malls, Schlitterbahn and Canyon Lake. We have 3 houses right next to each other to accommodate large parties, retreats, bachelor/bachelorette getaways and company/private retreats.
