It is also a great area for Winter Texans and Snowbirds. There are three bedrooms, and a full bathroom is just across the hall, from two of the bedrooms. The master bedroom has a private full bathroom with double sinks. The linens and towels are all provided. This home has a fully equipped kitchen, with microwave, gas stove, coffee maker etc. There is a large dining room table and a breakfast bar. Well-behaved pets will be allowed. Picture your own custom cabin, with attached private deck and an open living, dining area and kitchen with a loft above and a master suite attached and a fully functioning bathroom with a walk in shower. The treehouses are actually attached to the large hardwood trees that run along a seasonal creek, which lend to the picturesque setting that will give you an overall exhilarating experience. We are very fortunate to be located near a very beautiful section of the Guadalupe River on River Road between New Braunfels and Canyon Lake. Though not right on the river, our cabins sit over the seasonal dry creek bed and have 400 feet of river access across River Road with hammocks, picnic tables, fire pits and chairs for your use as well as a nice grassy area to hang out, wade in the water or tube. Also be aware for those guests staying in the lofts upstairs, our cabins are custom built around the trees, to decrease the weight of the structure, we used spiral staircases to the loft which can be a bit narrow, but it is part of the charm of our treehouse cabins. Since we are so centrally located, you will be able to easily access and enjoy many of the best places the Texas Hill Country has to offer including river access from our property, Canyon Lake (a boat ramp is only minutes away), Whitewater Amphitheater, River Road Icehouse, Koozies, historic Gruene Hall, Schlitterbahn and the many attractions New Braunfels has to offer, which is 11 miles from the treehouses. Many of our guests come here to tube and enjoy the Guadalupe River and take advantage of the ease in which they can access and enjoy the river by simply walking across River Rd. To the river access. By taking a shuttle up river and simply floating back down to the river access, you can tube with your group very easily! **KAYAKS and TUBES ARE NOT included, but can be rented at nearby outfitters. After a long day of tubing and river fun many of our guests enjoy relaxing and barbecuing along the banks of the river recounting the day’s excitement. Afterwards you can enjoy the nightlife and many live music venues nearby or simply hang out with your family and friends on your private treehouse deck. After a day or two of tubing and river fun, many guests change pace and rent a deck or ski boat at Canyon Lake or go to New Braunfels to enjoy Schlitterbahn Waterpark. A stained glass window lets in light, but maintains privacy. The guest bedroom has a ceiling that slopes toward the back of the house and features a 1920's metal frame double bed. We have all the amenities of home but with breathtaking views of Lake Travis and the hill county.. Our 2BR Villa is located on our family’s beautiful vineyard overlooking Lake Travis. Our sweet spot is surrounded by vineyards on one side and the lake and Hill Country on the other. When you first walk in the door you will be amazed by our open and spacious living area with vaulted ceilings. There is never a bad view with our kitchen opening up to the dining room and living room. Large picture windows facing the balcony give you lake views from any spot in the living space. Our kitchen has a wraparound counter made out of beautiful Silestone and we have a Kenmore stove top, dishwasher, and refrigerator. Please note that we do not have an oven but we have provided a convection oven to assist with your cooking requirements. The living room has a door to the balcony with enough seating for seven around our table. Don’t miss the breathtaking views that bring the day in. Or later in the day you can relax and watch the boats go by and when night falls, watch the lights light up the lake. If you can ever break away from the views, our flat screen TV in the living room has Direct TV and DVD player with a small DVD collection. THE LOCATION We are situated high above the lake. The lake provides such water fun as jet skiing, boating, fishing, sailing, or even just floating on the water. We are on one of the deepest coves of Lake Travis –currently 45-feet deep below our boat dock. There are many fun activities that Austin and the surrounding areas have to offer. Downtown Austin is a mere 45-minutes away in one direction and we have the town of Marble Falls 30-minutes away in the other direction. Depending on time of year, you must visit Marble Falls and their Sweet Berry Farm for strawberry, blackberry, pumpkin and so many other pickings. If you wish to visit a winery for tastings, Flat Creek Estate Vineyards is 15-minutes away. There are plenty of fun and unique restaurants in the area, we suggest trying out Dee Dee’s Tacos for some of the greatest breakfast tacos in town and the Gnarly Gar is a floating restaurant and a great spot to go feed fish and listen to live music.
