It is also a great area for Winter Texans and Snowbirds. There are three bedrooms, and a full bathroom is just across the hall, from two of the bedrooms. The master bedroom has a private full bathroom with double sinks. The linens and towels are all provided. You will enjoy the 55' 3D LED TV in the living room and large LED TV's in the master bedroom and 2nd bedroom. We have supplied some 3D movies and glasses for your enjoyment. Also watch your favorite movies and shows or listen to your favorite music using our Nettflix and Pandora accounts. The condo has free high speed internet/WiFi as well. Stainless Steel designer kitchen appliances include extra quiet dishwasher, range, microwave, side by side refrigerator w/ ice/water dispenser, quiet garbage disposal. The kitchen is stocked with upgraded dishes, silverware, pots, pans and other utensils including waffle iron, blender, toaster and coffee maker. If you find that we don't have something you need and can be used by our future guests, please call me for approval to purchase and reimbursement. Be sure to plan on grilling by the beautiful tropical pool area. There are 3 pools and a hot tub. One of the pools is heated. The laundry room is located just down the hallway from this condo but you won't need it since it also has built in washer and dryer. The master bedroom has a queen bed, 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and a set of bunk beds. The bedrooms and bathrooms are located upstairs. There is a Murphy bed (wall bed) downstairs off the dining room. Each bedroom has an LED TV w/ Blu Ray player. We provide some 3D movies & glasses for your enjoyment, but be sure to bring along or rent your favorite 3D movies. This truly is a premier condo in a great family resort. Nearly everyone that stays in our condos tells me that they had one of the best vacations ever right here. Truthfully, the first time you walk in the door with anticipation of what you might find, we want you to say WOW and get that feeling that you made the right choice for your vacation. This condo is not appropriate for guests that cannot climb stairs. The condo is located on the 3 1/2 story. The elevator goes up to the 3rd story, then there is a 1/2 flight of stairs to access the main entry door of the condo. Also, the bedrooms and bathrooms are located upstairs in this condo.

INSIDE THE HOUSE The architect owner of this sweet seaside home designed it himself, so you’ll find thoughtful touches throughout. There’s ample parking underneath this stilt house, with room for 4 cars. On this lower level there’s also a picnic table, 2 charcoal grills. The SS cables in the deck's handrails dramatically open the view to the beach from anywhere in the house compared to the wooden pickets on most houses. We specifically built the living room wall with the high glass to again open up the views to the beach and water. Finally we recently completed the substantial dune walkover that is ramped on both ends and lit at night. It also goes further out across the dunes than any other walkover around. Inside the home has a clean, subdued-but-beachy feel; the color scheme is blue, tan and gray, with cooling tile floors. The living room greets you when you enter. Here the high vaulted ceiling (there’s a loft above) creates a sense of airiness. There’s seating for 7 around the 42” flat-screen TV, and a wall of windows facing the beach. To the left from the entrance is the dining table, where 6 can join for dinner surrounded by windows. The adjacent open, U-shaped kitchen has high-end finishes: stainless steel stove/oven, fridge and dishwasher, granite countertops, and blue-gray tiled backsplash. There’s seating for 2 at the breakfast bar. Down the hall past the kitchen are the guest bedrooms (which both have TV’s). The 3rd bedroom will sleep 4, with 2 twin-over-full bunk beds, while the 2nd bedroom offers more privacy and storage, with wicker furniture throughout and a queen-size bed. The shared bathroom has a granite vanity with ample counter space, a tub/shower combo. From the living room, you’ll find stairs into the loft master suite. On the landing you’ll find a little family game room, with a shelf full of books and games and a table. The futon here can fold out to sleep 2. The master suite features a king-size bed, 42” TV, extra seating, and a walk-in closet. You’ll love the sense of openness from the floor-to-ceiling windows - you can even head out onto a private deck, where 2 white rocking chairs overlook the gulf. The en-suite bathroom is built for 2, with a large stand-up shower and a double vanity. OUR LOCATION The beach is quiet and natural here on the southwestern end of Galveston Island. Beach grasses abound on the dunes and you’ll find no shops or restaurants lining the oceanfront (it’s all your own). The nearest restaurant, a seafood joint called the West End, sits about 4 miles away. Downtown Galveston is about a 35-minute drive away, and is known for historic homes and a charming old town market district. Bring the kids to Moody Gardens, where glass pyramids house wildlife and fun educational attractions, or to Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier for rides and games. Exciting days and calm nights with the Gulf of Mexico lapping at your door - you’ll not find a better beach vacation.

    Relaxing & recently remodeled, this condo is in the heart of Austin w/ new GoogIe Fiber installed. Located 5 min. Cab ride from Downtown, South Congress, Rainey St. & top music venues. Great spot for SXSW, ACL, F1 & exploring this fun city!. Our 2-story loft condo is just a few minutes from everything you'd want to do in Austin. This is NOT a share of any sort or private room, you're not in someone's backyard —you get the entire place to yourself :-) This two-story condo is comfortable, bright and has everything you need. It's a perfect place to rest your head after exploring Austin all day/night, and it's spacious enough to just chill and relax if that's your thing too. About 90% of the furniture is hand-built by us from sturdy pine or cedar. There's a tatami-style king futon bed with topper upstairs in the loft bedroom, and there's a queen guest futon with topper downstairs (which doubles as a lounging couch). The remodeled bathroom has a shower/tub with new fixtures and comes with towels for your use. We provide some homemade shampoo, which is a mixture of Bronner's & essential oils. The open dining area also has a bar that we built with 3 stools as well (see photos). We have all the amenities to make the place like feel like you're at home. Including a full kitchen, butcher block tops, oven, stove, dishwasher (no microwave or toaster FYI), dishes, GoogIe Fiber WiFi, cards/games and free parking for 2 cars. There's a coin-operated washer/dryer on site in the building. We've done our best to keep highly-synthetic materials and plastics out of the home where possible, so you'll find a number of things that are made of different types of wood, metals or glass instead. The neighbors are cool and very polite — they sort of keep to themselves and their own business, but everyone is very friendly. If you read some of our reviews, you'll notice a number of our guests have talked about a kitty (named Rufus) that we had. He's no longer here at the condo. Families and large groups will adore an open concept design that keeps the whole group together. Adjacent to the upstairs living room is a simple wooden dining set with seating for 6. This space opens onto a galley-style kitchen with a full appliance package and a breakfast bar that seats 3. Four bedrooms are spread out over the two levels. The master bedroom offers a king-sized bed and seashore details, a second bedroom has a king-sized bed and blonde wood and wicker furnishings. The home is cozy and fully carpeted with a full-sized bed and the fourth has a twin, queen and a cheerful color scheme. Two full bathrooms have tubs with rain showers while an additional bath offers a corner-style shower. Enjoy your beautiful coastal surroundings with three full levels of living space. A ground floor patio lets you relax in the shade, a second-floor wooden deck offers plenty of seating in the sun and a third floor deck delivers stunning views of the gulf. THE LOCATION Staying in Lost Colony Villas has its perks. You’ll have an easy walk to the beach via a quaint boardwalk and access to a sparkling pool just outside your front door. Just a 10-minute drive south is Mustang Island State Park, where you can enjoy the surf and sand in whatever way suits you, whether it’s swimming, fishing, kayaking, hiking or biking. Walk to local shops, arrange fishing trips at Private Deep Sea Charters (a 5-minute drive) or take a 20-minute drive to Schlitterbahn Water Park for a day of swimming in the sun and hurtling down tube slides. When it comes to dining, you have plenty of choices. Take a 5-minute walk to seafood restaurant Black Marlin Bar and Grill (within Palmilla Resort), drive 5 minutes to La Barrataria for fabulous bay views and American classics, or take a 7-minute drive to Venetian Hot Plate and tuck into traditional Italian dishes. Get a T time from the pro shop and spend the day on the golf course. Palmilla golf offers 15% off the standard green fee when staying at one of our properties at Palmilla.
