The porch invites you to cheerful afternoons barbecue and long after-dinner conversations over a glass of wine. The finca is divided into two buildings, under the same roof. The 2-storey main house counts with a total of 2 living rooms, 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, for a total of 12 persons.     Our completely modernized farmhouse is situated on a mountain-top overlooking the beautiful wide valley of the Conca de Barbera in the northern limits of the province of Tarragona, where we offer you a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. In your lounge in your separate apartment you'll find a scrap-book, full of information on places to see and visit, a short car ride away, apart from a walk up to the top part of the village for the views and to visit the 1000-year-old Romanic church and wander round the old village, or taking a walk in the local countryside to visit the ancient spring or to pick aromatic plants, there many interesting visits to be made locally. Our place is in the lower part of the village, which avoids being shrouded in clouds as is the top part when it's cloudy, but just as cool in summer, when down on the coast they sweat in clammy heat, we sleep in cool freshness, and is at more or less the same altitude as several local places that can be cycled to (we have bikes we can hire you very cheaply) along the tracks improved by the windmill installers. The windmills provide great wondering for younger visitors, and although initially their presence scared off most of our local eagle population, recently we have been noticing the return of soaring great birds of prey in the skies over the wide valley of the Conca. We are lucky to have brand-new 5-star thermal spring establishment of Rocallaura, extremely well-equipped and guaranteed to make you feel a new person in two hours. We have multi-ticket entries which reduce the price from 23 to 15€‚ all-in. We have also installed a steam sauna therapy shower cabin on the ground floor next to the yoga room; you feel 10 times better than taking a shower afterwards. Cost 3€ per session. With the village strategically situated on the Route of the Cisters, and the public rambling route Gr Saint James' Track passing in front of the house, giving easy access to the 3 famous historic monasteries, Santes Creus, historically fascinating, Vallbona de les Monges, quaint and still functionning, and Poblet, beautiful and much-appreciated. The local capital, Reus, is famous as Gaudi's birthplace, with an interesting 5-floor visitor centre and a walking route through the town visiting the 28 outstanding Noucentista houses. Near Poblet monastery are the renowned caves of Espluga de Francolí, with lit-up underground river. Many of our visitors come to tour the beautiful Noucentista wine bodegas, the best-known being the Cathedral of the Wines at Nulles near Valls, itself the centre the Catalán "Castellers"(human Castles) festivities during the spring/summer. The famous sacred and beautiful mountain of Montserrat, is half-way to Barcelona, 115kms away, down the A2 freeway. Tarragona, with its Roman ruins and amphitheatre, and the kindest beaches in Catalunya, is also a most popular day trip for those who have stayed with us.

Only a 20-minute drive will take you to Ses Casetes des Capellans and Can Picafort. Spend a day on the sandy beach and have a cocktail while enjoying the sunset. In the area there are good restaurants to eat good paella, some with stunning views of the bay of Alcúdia. The promenade of Can Picafort is lively and contrasts with the tranquillity of Platges de Muro. It is also advisable to approach the area of Alcúdia, where there are coves with crystal clear waters. Apart from the north, you can visit the beaches of the east of Mallorca, small sandy and rocky beaches perfect for nature lovers. Alicante and Murcia airports are both 40 kilometers away and a 35 minute drive to the villa. The nearest beach is Guardamar, which is a 10 minute drive from the villa. Leisure and recreation:- The town Centre of Ciudad Quesada is well provided with shops, bars, restaurants, supermarkets, bowling and mini golf which is a 15 min walk from the villa. It also has a golf course, tennis court and its own water park, which is a 5 min drive, or 10 min walk from the villa. Small Towns of Benijofar & Benimar are also close by. Golf:- Quesada have it's very own golf course the 18 hole La Marquesa, also here are many other championship golf courses to choose from: Villamartin, Las ramblas and a beautiful La Finca. There are many more within an hour’s drive. Shopping:- Torrevieja town and other markets nearby are open every day during the summer months, La Zenia Boulevard is a new shopping mall 25 mins away. Beaches:- The many Blue flag beaches of Torrevieja, Guardamar del Segura, and Santa Pola are all within a 10 – 20 minute drive from the villa.. The golden soft sands and clear waters of the Mediterranean sea are simply stunning, lined with restaurants and bars. Hire Car:- A hire car is recommended if you want to travel further around to the beaches and shopping center’s but there are taxis available.
