    The view from here is - "just stunning but wait until you see the pool..." ... Villa is - "simply beautiful " Two comments form guests in August 2016 Villa is for sure, a really special property for both friends and families to enjoy. Tucked away on the sleepy hillside of Castiglion Fiorentino and where guests can make this their "home from home" - The property welcomed its first guests in May 2016, - The villa is set within an olive grove where the visible ruins of an ancient defence castle of Castiglion Fiorentino can be explored and enjoyed. Adjacent to the larger villa is a (deconsecrated) church from the 12th century which has also being restored. The Villa and its annex provide three bedrooms, three bathrooms, modern kitchens, 2 sitting rooms, a vast terrace with some of the loveliest views of the valley and the town of Castiglion along with the private Infinity Edge pool - strategically situated to enjoy the fabulous views. It is about 3 km from the town, where there are many restaurants, bars and shops and, there is also small shop,bar and restaurant just across the valley if you did not want to travel into the town, Much like the other villas here, this is also a good location - an excellent base to explore Tuscany its many hill towns, festivals, wineries and countryside including easy easy day trips to Cortona, Pienza, Montepulciano, Siena etc - Florence is also easy by either car (1 hour) or by train from our local station. This is one of our first reviews from May 2016. A first review says: “The houses are surrounded by a beautiful old olive grove. There are two terraces overlooking the valley and a very nice infinity swimming pool. The view is breathtaking. I have been in this valley before but the view here beats everything. There is a small terrace in the back to catch the early morning sun. The large (Giant) terraces in the front catch the sun from 10 am to sunset. For people like me who love to read in the shade : plenty of shade available under the surrounding trees. The olive groves around the houses are actually grassy meadows, ideal for children's play. In the woods on top of the hill behind the house lie the remains of a 13 th century castle. You have to drive up a drivable access road from the valley floor to reach this house. The next and only other house is 100 m down. The road continues up the hill for another 1.6 km, winding through beautiful olive groves and forests, offering breathtaking views. Then then for easy hiking, road changes into a hiking trail that joins the hiking trail that circumvent the valley. We were the first occupants in a newly developed property. We were two couples and stayed a week in May 2016. The property consist of two houses. The smaller one , just a few meters away, has one bedroom, with a king size bed, bathroom and a living space with kitchen. Tho main house has two bedrooms, with king size bed and the other with two single beds. The main house has two bathrooms. A dining room, sitting room and separate kitchen. Hendrik, NL.     This is a charming 15th Century stone house located in the heart of the village of Beynac, listed as one of the most beautiful villages in France. The chateau at Beynac is on the top of a 500 foot cliff and the village houses are positioned below - providing privacy and spectacular views from one side of the house, and village life on the other. Extraordinary views of the magnificent Dordogne river and the Valley of the Five Chateaux present themselves from each of the four floors. The front door opens directly from the cobblestone streets - just steps from our private and unique parking grotte - into the main room of approximately 60 sq. Meters. Honey colored stone walls, stone tile floor, ancient wooden beams and a huge medieval fireplace set the tone for this main floor. A fully applianced kitchen with a granite countered cooking area is built into one of the old fireplaces. Antique carpets and leather seating offers a comfortable area to relax, listen to the stereo or view English satellite television on the 30' flat panel television. The large dining table suitable for seating up to 6 diners is next to the window offering spectacular views of the river, the sunset and the colorful montgolfiers (hot air balloons) drifting by at dawn and sunset most days in season. Down the stone staircase is the Master Bedroom with an ensuite bathroom combining modern fixtures with stone walls. A King-size bed with temperpedic mattress, reading lamps, desk and a large private full width balcony with loungers, barbeque and dining table for two make this room the ideal spot to relax with the a glass of wine to admire the view. On this same level there is a very small bedroom with bunk beds for children, which is especially convenient for parents who want their young children to sleep nearby but in a separate space from the master bedroom. One floor down, the old merchants store room now is the second large bedroom, again with stone walls, ancient beamed ceiling and a river view. This room also has a king size bed. An ensuite bathroom, and a full laundry room with washer and dryer complete this floor. Because neither bedrooms are in the attic, and the thick stone walls offer a cooling insulator against the hot Dordogne summers, we sleep comfortably cool all summer long, many times with a duvet cover. Another floor down brings you to two flagstoned terraces, one with a grape and wisteria arbor for a shaded sitting area and a few steps down, the lower terrace - with full access to the sun. Wonderful views of the river from both terraces and views of the Chateaux of Fayrac, Castelnaud, Lacosse and Marqueyssac.

The third zone, "WORK AREA", with a very functional desk, transparent glass table, a chair, a desk lamp and a shelf where you can organize your work while being constantly connected to the high-speed Internet through Wi-Fi. The fourth area is the "DINING AREA" designed into circular shape surrounding the dining table, creating an intimate and exclusive atmosphere. The dining area is decorated with exquisite hand painted Italian paper of high quality and a designer lamp. Calgar After having a wonderful stay at our host's Barcelona apartment, we moved to Madrid to stay in his Madrid apartment as well. Madrid is a beautiful city and this apartment is definitely a very good choice for a relaxing vacation in Madrid. It is quite huge with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a big kitchen with every necessary utensil and a very spacious beautiful terrace. We enjoyed a lot having our breakfasts at the open-view terrace. The apartment is nicely designed with quality furniture, and the bed was quite comfy as well. Though the apartment is not located within the city center, there are two metro stations very close by the apartment, around 2 to 3 minutes on foot. These stations are on major lines that connects you to the various stations in the city center in 20 minutes at most. Or you may opt to walk as once we did and it takes around 40 minutes. Getting to the apartment from the airport is again quite easy using the metro. There are 2 supermarkets that are within 200 meters range and there are some restaurants and bars as well. Checking in and out went quite smooth for us. Our host greeted us himself upon our arrival, and gave us information about the city and the surroundings of the apartment, along with a map and a tourist guide-book. On the check-out day, our plane was taking off a little bit late, but although he had other guests coming in the same day, Roberto arranged for us to leave our luggages in until 3pm. He is a very friendly and caring host and he was always available for any question through phone or SMS. All in all, we enjoyed our stay in Madrid a lot and I could sincerely recommend this host and his beautiful apartment in Madrid. Damali My friends and I have a wonderful stay in this unit. The apartment was exactly as advertised, and the pool table and Wii sports provided us and our two boys great family recreation time in between all the cultural and culinary sightseeing of Madrid. Most importantly, our host was an extraordinarily helpful "concierge", offering spot-on advice on places to eat and see, and even helping us to get a taxi to take us to the train station on our last day, when a transit strike was otherwise threatening to make it hard to get where we needed to. I honestly cannot speak highly enough about our host's unfailing good humor and great advice. The location of the apartment is a bit out of the way--a half-hour or so by subway from most of the places we wanted to visit in Madrid--but even that became a surprising benefit, as it forced us to get to know the subway system, and thus to really feel like locals. It is a centennial house with preserved characteristic architecture of the North of Portugal, rounded with pretty gardens outside and really close to the Atlantic beaches. This is a rural tourism facility located in the north of Portugal, near the Atlantic coast. This vacation rental house has a capacity for 14+ people, with 7 double rooms, several spacious living rooms, and a large kitchen with the typical rural ambience that is fully equipped and can easily accommodate groups. Originally built in 1892, the house was recently renovated to more comfortably accommodate our guests, but the beautiful characteristics of its buildings have been preserved.
