rugged coastline. Ancient sea caves dot its landscape and the 11 mi (17 km) Kalalau Trail starts here.

is a one-lane dirt road approximately 7 miles long but takes 2-3 hours to drive. There are several lookouts along the way. Munro Trail goes through rain forests and up mountains to the top of Mount Lanaihale and then back down to the Palawai Basin.
