Remodelled from top to bottom in 2017, The Lookout is a luxury vacation rental located in Hatch on 3.5 acres of land, about 25 minutes to Bryce Canyon National Park and 50 minutes to the East entrance of Zion. It overlooks large pastures with the Sevier River meandering throughout, where you can watch cattle roam in the summer, as well as spectacular sunrises and sunsets over the back of Bryce Canyon (Paunsagunt Cliffs) which is right in front of the house. Most windows in the house have a breathtaking view, hence the name "Lookout". The property sits on 3.5 private acres with private Sevier River frontage for fishing. The river is known for 3 kinds of trout that are restocked periodically by the local fish hatchery. The property has just completed an extensive remodel with new hardwood and tile flooring throughout, exceptional tile walk in showers with windows, granite countertops, automatic espresso and coffee maker (coffee provided), stainless steel kitchen appliances etc. It has been decorated in a trendy modern urban industrial style using reclaimed accent pieces, local antiques and custom metal artwork from local craftsmen. Of course high speed wireless internet is provided as well as Netflix and Amazon Video service (no broadcast, cable or satellite channels), as well as Pandora for music and ambiance. The Lookout is around 1800 sf. There is one full bathroom downstairs, where the kitchen and large family / dining room are located. On the second floor are 2 bedrooms (one with a split cal king bed, and one with 2 XL twins) and 2 bathrooms (both have large walk in showers with windows, one has an additional large tub). The third floor is an open loft with a cal king bed. All beds have new state of the art latex mattresses. We provide many extras for our guests, such as locally made artisan soaps, shampoo, coffee from the region and much more. The gourmet kitchen features stainless steel appliances and is well equipped for cooking lavish meals and baking treats in the convection oven. Washer, laundry soap and dryer are also provided. Note that the Lookout does not have air conditioning, as summers do not get very hot at the higher elevation in Hatch, but all windows have screens so they can be opened to take advantage of the breeze. You will enjoy a good night rest in eery silence. If you're from the big city, it will take some getting used to. The property is equipped with state-of-the-art electronic locks so that guests can check themselves in at any time, and late check-in is not a problem. Guests have access to the entire house, and can roam freely on the 3.5 acres as well as fish (with a Utah fishing license, that can be purchased online) and swim in the Sevier River. 4x4 or high clearance is useful in order to enjoy the surrounding trails, but a regular low-clearance sedan is sufficient to access the house itself. We have a strict no-pet and no-smoking policy.

    The Sevier River Retreat is a secluded and luxurious ranch house that sits on 9 acres surrounded by the Sevier River on 3 sides, and close to Bryce Canyon and Zion. The house looks directly at the back of Bryce Canyon and the Sevier River. Most windows in the house have a view, and there are no neighbors. The property was entirely renovated, decorated and furnished in 2015 with an neo-industrial/farm style mixing wood and metal. The house features accents of barnwood (most of it from the property itself) and many of the furniture pieces and lighting fixtures were custom made from local artisans using reclaimed barnwood. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms (the master bathroom has a jacuzzi tub and separate tiled shower) and a half bath, with a size of approximately 1800 sf. The house offer all the amenities of home including high speed wifi (30 Mbps) throughout the house, four LCD flatscreen TVs that offer Netflix and Amazon Video streaming service (no broadcast, cable or satellite channels), as well as Pandora for music and ambiance. We provide many extras for our guests, such as a printer to print out itineraries and boarding passes, cellphone chargers, reverse osmosis drinking water, locally made artisan soaps, shampoo, coffee from the region and much more. During the summer, open up the double doors and blur the lines between inside and outside, as you watch the pink cliffs light up during majestic sunsets, and animals and birds using the river while you have dinners on the wraparound decks. INSIDE THE CONDO From covered parking in the Crestview complex, you’ll enter a three-story building with stone and pine exterior. The indoor parking garage has one assigned spot for the condo. Take the elevator to the third floor. Your condo has stunning tile flooring in the entryway and a half bath on the left with granite sink-top and sliding door. Walking forward, you’ll pass a closet with the stackable washer and dryer, perfect for keeping clothes fresh and packing light. The open-plan living area just beyond has a kitchen with granite countertops and updated appliances, including a gas stove, microwave, fridge, and dishwasher. You’ll be able to cook a feast and clean up with ease, and the long open counter makes it easy to chat with those nearby. The carpeted living room is decorated in warm tones and Western themed artwork—and there’s a stunning set of windows.
