Quartier Latin: Apartment
€75 to €90 EUR
MY LITTLE HOME IN PARIS: 18th Century rustic charm, with all the comforts and conveniences of the 21st Century - in the historic Latin Quarter.
This cosy inviting 2-room flat is an oasis of calm, nestled in a cobbled courtyard, on the top floor of a modest two-story building from the 1700s.
The street itself is a quiet ancient pedestrian passageway.
As soon as you enter the flat, you know you’re in Paris: Warm golden tones, parquet floors and fireplace, beveled mirrors, brocante furnishings and velour drapery, create a homey and romantic atmosphere.
You will find everything you need to feel at home right away: fresh flowers, wine, pastries, coffee, teas, juice… hairdryer, curling iron, shampoos, bath and shower gels, body lotions… guide books, maps, umbrellas… WIFI, TV, free international phone service, a free French cell phone, adaptors, and shopping baskets for the nearby markets.
Ideal for couples and solo travelers, the flat can comfortably accommodate a third guest:
- a queen-size sofa bed in the main living area; a fold-out single bed in the office/dressing room.
- a sunny pocket kitchen, fully equipped and well-stocked.
- an elegant and surprisingly spacious bathroom with full tub and shower.
- fresh linens and towels provided every week
There is no washer/dryer in the flat. However, there are two bright modern self-service laundromats steps away, one at each end of your street.
Smoking is not permitted in the apartment. Smokers may smoke in the courtyard.
The flat is not suitable for children under 10 years of age.
WELCOME TO YOUR NEIGHBOURHOOD. A safe, vibrant, and enchanting ‘village’, steeped in culture and history dating back 2000 years to the Romans.
This is the Paris of Hemingway’s « Moveable Feast », Woody Allen’s « Midnight in Paris » and Scorsese’s « Hugo Cabret » .
Not to mention the Sorbonne, the Panthéon, the Arènes de Lutèce, the Cluny Museum or Notre Dame de Paris. Plus, the Jardin des Plantes and Luxembourg Gardens… and the Seine. All a short and pleasant walk from your door.
Place de la Contrescarpe is your backyard and playground - a convivial lively square with fountain and trees, surrounded by cafés, bars, your local grocer, bakeries and ice-cream parlours.
Rue Mouffetard, a former via Roma, is your daily market and shopping street, brimming with restaurants, fish mongers, wine shops, bookshops, specialty food shops, tea salons, fashion boutiques, gift shops, chocolatiers, fruit and vegetable vendors… Everything you could possibly desire or need at your fingertips.
Two nearby metro lines and several buses connect you easily and rapidly to all of Paris and the airports.
Your little home is so centrally located, you could walk almost everywhere.
