From the entryway, the ground floor level of the house, features the first of two master suites and its cozy sitting area with a fireplace, described by one of our guests as the most beautiful and comfortable bedrooms she has ever slept in. The queen size bed has a pillow top mattress, fine sheets and comforters. A large walk-in closet is next door to the double-sink bathroom with its colorful tile work, polished cement counter tops and large bath- shower. At the end of the entryway, framed by a beautiful arch, is an oasis garden area, with a large date palm and plants, open to the sky, bringing lots of light into the first floor master suite. Up the staircase, you come to the main living floor of the house, complete with a second fireplace, flatscreen TV, a built-in DVD player and a CD player with iPod docking station. The well-outfitted kitchen with its polished cement counter tops and center island, includes everything you will need for preparing the simplest meal to an elegant dinner party. The kitchen opens onto a sunny terrace with chairs and table along with a gas barbecue. A dining area, half-bath, and laundry closet are also on this level. This great room has wonderful light throughout the day, which is not all that common in most San Miguel homes. One more level up and you find the second master bedroom, as well as a sunny roof terrace, with vistas across San Miguel's historic Centro toward the western sunset. Five of San Miguel's famous churches are visible from the terrace, a great place to relax with a good book on the lounge chairs and enjoy the afternoon sun. This bedroom has another queen size bed, also with pillowtop mattress and fine bed linens, plus an en-suite bathroom. The house rental includes maid services three times a week, wireless Internet connection for your own laptop, cable TV, and local phone service. A Vonage line is also included in the house, which you can use for free calls back to the States and Canada.
