These cabins are a grouping of five beautiful luxury homes that offer a true “ski in – ski out” experience at Red Resort. Featuring the best location at Red, these homes are situated slope side at Red Mountain Resort. Centrally located too; enjoy just moments walk to Gabriella's Restaurant, Rafter’s Lounge and everything the Red Resort base area has to offer. In summer, there is a tennis court across the street and great walking, hiking and biking routes in all directions. Set amongst trees and forest and mountains, the cabins are a special retreat for large families or groups or as part of a large group who may be staying at nearby accommodations. All these properties share the same beautiful finishing details – stone fireplaces, tile floors, luxurious carpeting, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, a mix of log framed and modern luxury furniture – these homes will easily exceed your expectations with their appointments. This four storey home has four bedrooms which will sleep a maximum of 14 persons. The master bedroom has a king size bed with an ensuite bathroom and gas fireplace. The second bedroom has a queen size bed, bedroom three has two twin-over-double bunk beds, bedroom four has two double-over-double bunk beds. There is also a hide-a-bed couch in the downstairs TV room. There are a total of three bathrooms. The kitchen area features granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, a gas stove, ample cupboard space with a breakfast bar and is also adjacent to the formal dining area. The living area features a luxurious leather couch and love seat along with a comfy easy chair with ottoman and a gas fireplace to keep cozy around. Other amenities include a hot tub, BBQ, three decks to enjoy the views from, a TV room, a boot/gear room, laundry, a double garage and plenty of storage.

"True" ski-in/ski-out home - You NEVER have to take a step in your ski boots. Our home is the closest house on the mountain to a ski trail. 3 beautiful, huge King beds, a double trundle that can convert to a King, a double and a futon that folds down to a twin. The front dining area, balcony and Master bedroom window seat all have panoramic views of the Columbia river valley and the Canadian Rockies. Heated wood and slate floors. Air hockey, table tennis and pool table await you down in the den. We have lots of board games, cards, puzzles and movies for your use. We are two avid skiers who bought our house for ski trips with family and friends and eventual retirement. We first skied at Kicking Horse in 2004 as part of our yearly ski trip with friends to the Canadian Rockies. Our day at Kicking Horse was the favorite of everyone on the trip. We couldn't believe how great the snow was, how big the mountain was and how few people there were. In 2009 we were looking to buy and we decided to come back to double check if everything we remembered about it was true. It was and we happened to stumble upon a great deal on this home and jumped at the opportunity. With any life changing event there is always a little voice that wonders if you are doing the right thing. That voice went away and never came back after we had to stop for a black wolf in the middle of the road between Banff and Golden. We knew this was the place for us. Once in the Kimberley Nature Park, you will enjoy endless biking, hiking, snow shoeing and cross country ski trails. Our Kimberley vacation rental chalet is also a short bike ride to the Northstar Rails to Trails which is a maintained and paved trail created on the old Kimberley Rail Line. The Rails to Trails links the community of Kimberley with Cranbrook through a 25km stretch of trail that winds along some of the most beautiful mountain sides and through some of the most breathtaking river and creek valleys in British Columbia’s Kootenay Canadian Rockies region. A further drive out but within 45 or so minutes, you’ll find yourself enjoying the forest wilds, views and waters at St. Mary’s Lake, Wasa Lake or Moyie Lake.
