Amenities: Laundry facilities shared within the complex. Activities: Outdoor heated pool, sauna. Pool table / billiards, exercise room, kid's play area and BBQ . Hot Tub for Complex: There is a shared outdoor hot tub. Distances: Five minutes walk from lifts, the restaurants, the bars, and the stores. Shopping in Dillon and Silverthorne is a 10 minute drive. There are 5 mountains within easy drive and one right out the front door - traditional lift served, CAT, and heli-skiing are all available. Two championship Golf Courses (River Course and the Keystone Ranch Course) can be reached by driving for 20 minutes. Denver International Airport is 70 miles.
The Summit Express Lift and the River Run Gondola are a 2 minute walk from the complex. To get to the lifts, walk straight out the front door of the lodge and head straight out across the street, passing to the left of The Dakota. Pass through the courtyard towards the big red tower. Bear to the right and go through the village. All around you will be the restaurants and shops of River Run. To get to the lifts keep going straight across the small bridge and the lifts will be straight up in front of you. On your way you'll also pass the ticket window on your right. For other skiing areas: A-Basin - 5-8 minute drive; Breckenridge - 15-20 minute drive; Copper - 20-25 minute drive; Vail - 40-50 minute drive. All these locations are also accessible by the Summit County shuttle bus (Summit Stage), which picks up right out the front door of Expedition Station.
