Killington is known for its diversity of terrain and grooming expertise, providing skiers and riders of all ability levels a choice of wide-open groomed cruisers, narrow classic New England runs, moguls, steeps and gladed skiing areas. Killington also offers multiple terrain features for snowboarders and freeskiers, including Bear Mountain’s signature terrain parks.
Off-mountain activities include cross country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and ice skating, combined with more than 100 restaurants and bars and shopping options throughout the region, making Killington the top resort in the Northeast for après and lively evening entertainment.
During the summer months, Killington features an 18-hole championship Geoffrey Cornish-designed golf course; a Mountain Bike Park served by the K-1 Gondola and a full 18-hole disc golf course.

Spartan Beast Race
(September): Killington’s annual extreme obstacle course competition weekend just got more intense. Think fire jumping, spear throwing, ropes climbing, trail running and then throw in Rebook Spartan Race Athletes, Olympians along with amateur athletes, all competing for cash and prizes. Competitors can choose to race in the Ultra Beast Race, 26+ miles, the Beast Race, 12+ miles or the 3.5+ mile sprint. Young Spartans can also join the Spartan Kids Races.
Brewfest & Golf Tournament
(end of September or first of October): Wet your whistle with a backdrop of 4,241' of Vermont's finest autumn foliage and enjoy live music, a plethora of fabulous food offerings and over 100 of the finest craft beers in the region. One of Killington's most distinctive annual celebrations, the Brewfest gets bigger and bigger every year. Now an action-packed multi-day event with two sampling sessions, you’ve got plenty of time for all the activities, beer and food you can handle. There's also a brew-inspired tournament at Killington Golf Course in celebration of the Killington Brewfest weekend, sponsored by Farrell Distributing. Come test your sporting skill and enjoy exclusive sample brews on-course during your round.
