Lake Country Accommodations

Your accommodations is one of 20 beautiful, gated Lakeside Villa's that is a one minute walk to our private beach with a 7000 lb boat lift on a secure private dock. The luxurious villa features a Sub Zero fridge, Wolf gas range, dish washer, convection microwave, Granite counters, gas fireplace, central air conditioning, hot water on demand and high end furniture throughout. It also has a large brick sunny patio with an extra large BBQ and plenty of seating. The three bedrooms have hotel grade mattresses, two kings and one queen. The living room also has a double size hide-a-bed. This property can sleep six comfortably and eight if you want to use the hide-a-bed. The master bedroom has a fantastic en-suite with a steam shower, double sink, walk in closet and a large air bubble tub. There are three large TV's; one located in the living room and one in each of the king suites. There is an over sized two car garage and a third vehicle can be parked parallel to the garage door. We are located in lake Country just 10 minutes from Kelowna airport and 20 minutes from Kelowna or Vernon. We are in the heart of all the things you expect from the Okanagan. The list is almost endless, world class golf, wineries, orchards, restaurants, biking, hiking, swimming, boating, tennis, etc. Wood Lake is BC's premier Kokanee fishing lake as well as offering warm swimming and smooth water for wake boarding and water skiing. It has direct access to Kalamalka Lake through a channel and you can boat all the way to Vernon. The lake also has a private marina with boat gas, boat and seadoo rentals and supplies. There are walk in doctors offices, drug stores, coffee shops, grocery stores and great restaurants right in our community. Newly opened is the "Okanagan Rail Trail", a bike and walking trail that was completed in 2018. You can ride around Wood Lake, 1 1/2 hours or all the way to Vernon, much longer on a picturesque trail that runs right along both Wood and Kalamalka lakes. It's an absolutely stunning ride or walk that is accesed right from our home. You can bring your bikes or walk to the rental shop just two blocks away. They offer e-bikes or regular bike rentals. The Okanagan Valley offers so much and our villa is situated in just the right spot for you and your family or friends to have a great vacation.

We have specifically designed our villa to be an amazing ultra luxury get away. We have set the limit of guest stays to 5 weeks per year in total to preserve the mint condition of this villa. The unit has a custom designed floor plan, double sound proofing in all walls, all bathrooms have heated floors, entire villa was wired for sound, video and internet, halogen potlights throughout. With a spacious double car garage plus one outdoor parking spot (parking pass must be used), you will have plenty of room for both your vehicles and storage for sports toys etc.

Outside there is a large deck with teak outdoor table and chairs, umbrella and backyard for sun bathing, or b-b-que and a hibachi with wood for campfires (some restrictions apply). Take a break from cooking to great restaurants at Gray Monk Winery and Grapevine Restaurant 5 star, with a fabulous view located just up the hill from us, Arrowleaf Winery has tapas, Arrowleaf wineries has picnic tables and you can buy wine and cheese and crackers and enjoy the view. It is one of our favorite places on hot days because the breezes and ambience is wonderful!!! NEW Chase Winery is 5 min drive and across the street is Intrigue Winery. Blind Tiger(OrganicWines), Ex Nihilo, 50 Parallel, are in the neighbourhood. Ricardo's Restaurant is Italian 5 STAR, there is Thai food and Sushi. There are many local organic options for grocery shopping at the huge Kelowna outdoor markets and Winfield Farmers'Market here in Lake Country. There are many new wineries all along the coast for 1 1/2 hours south. This is a friendly place where you can enjoy others in walking the beach trails,with the scent of pine trees and wild sweet peas. Walk up the hill to amazing views of grape vines, orchards with pear, apple, cherry, peach and apricot trees in bloom and homes dotting the landscape jutting in and out of the waterline below. Purchase your fruit in bulk and take it home. Rental boats at Turtle Bay (5 min) for skiing, touring, or fishing. Bike trails at Kettle Valley (old railroad tracks and bridge with panoramic views. Reminiscent of Italy the views are unbelievable!! Sports Enthusiasts: There is golf courses - Everywhere. Buy direct from local farmers or at your local farmers market or stores in Winfield. Please note: The bathroom contains only a shower and toilet but no sink, due to lack of space.
