The Guesthouse is located in the rural community of Sencca, overlooking the city of Cusco and Sacsayhuaman archaelogical site (15 minutes in car from the Plaza de Armas of Cusco). The Guesthouse has views of Salkantay mountain to the west, and Ausangate mountain to the east, (and Cusco city), making for spectacular sunrise and sunsets and night light vistas. Sencca is on the way to the Sacred Valley of the Incas and Machu Picchu, and 10 minutes to the Poroy train station where trains to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu) depart. The Guesthouse provides a comfortable and enjoyable stay for those wishing to get out of the city and interact with local people, without being far away from city conveniences or modern comforts. The guesthouse is rented out in full and has a private sunroom, garden/lawn area and an external laundry. There is parking available at no extra charge. Our rates include transfers on arrival and departure, Wi-Fi and satellite TV and a welcome pack on arrival. The guesthouse is located at an altitude of 3600 metres above sea level so you may need to take it easy on the first couple of days. The local people in the village speak Quechua, language of the Incas as well as Spanish. There are many corner stores in the community where you can buy everything from bread to toothbrushes to beer, but you might want to visit a supermarket for meat and dairy products. On Sundays, the locals play soccer and spend time with friends and family. During the week you will see the kids heading off to school and families taking their animals out to pasture. As you are staying in a rural area you may hear dogs, donkeys and other animals during your stay. The owner is an experienced and professional tour guide and we can provide you with information on local attractions, activities and our favourite places to eat in Cusco. We want all our guests to feel at home and we make every effort to ensure our guests leave happy, healthy and in love with Cusco!

Relax. Bask in the sun on the large decks, refresh in the shade, cool in the pool and ocean, stroll the beach, surf, kite surf, hike, jog on the beach, shop in open air markets, buy fresh tuna on the dock. At night enjoy the ambience of the pool lights and the large brick barbecue. Entertain at the large dining room table and and the long hardwood bar. Shorts and a T-shirt day and night. Or dress up a little and go to town for casual dining and small town night life. Relaxed and casual is the fashion. Forget your rain gear. This area has an average of only 6 days of rain each year and 300 days of sunshine. The weather in this area of Northern Peru is dry and tropical. In summer (from December to April) daytime temperatures can reach over 30°C. During autumn (April and May) and spring (October and November) it is a pleasant 24°C to 30°C. In winter (June to September) the days are also sunny and warm (24 - 28°) and nights are fresh (17 -20°) so you might need a light jacket in the evening. There is a limited amount of English spoken in this area of Peru. A basic knowledge of Spanish would be an asset. Feel free to speak to the owners for more information.

Like Bungalows 1 and 2, Bungalow 3 offers distinct views you can enjoy right from your bedroom whether it be high or low water season. In addition, from this bungalow you may see some local villagers fishing or even a river dolphin if you’re lucky. Bungalow 3 is built in a beautiful Oje tree surrounded by jungle vegetation. Monkeys regularly pass through this tree foraging for food. It can be arranged with either one king bed or two twins. Also, a portable cot can be provided if requested for an additional person.

Treehouse 6 sits 65 feet off the ground and spans approximately 15 feet in diameter. It can only be arranged with two twin beds. Also, portable cot can be provided if requested for an additional person.
