Gasparilla Island is located in southwest Florida
, United States. Separated from the mainland by Charlotte Harbor and Pine Island Sound, this island is part of a chain of Gulf Coast barrier islands.

Accommodations and lodging on offer range from beautiful vacation rentals, cozy condo rentals and luxurious villa rentals.
The island is accessible via the Boca Grande Causeway. Condo rentals, vacation rentals, villa rentals and modern accommodations sprawl along the island, although the town of Boca Grande looks much as it did for a century or more. Although quiet and peaceful most of the year
, the island’s relaxed atmosphere is disrupted in Spring when fishermen descend with a vengeance on the island that is considered one of the best tarpon fishing spots in the world. A world class tournament celebrates the annual tarpon run each July.
Visitors to Gasparilla Island with find gorgeous white sand beaches that lead to the crystal clear waters of the Gulf
, where swimming, shelling, fishing, sailing, surfing and scuba diving are just some of the activities available. There are many accommodation, vacation rental, and condo rental and villa rental options to suit all budgets.
Two picnic areas, with covered tables and restroom facilities, are located in the park, and offer scenic views of the surrounding water.
Swimming and sunbathing are very popular activities
and along the gulfside of the island are four parking areas, Range Light, Sea Grape, Dunes, and Seawall, which offer access to our beautiful gulf beaches. Snorkel in the pristine, blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
The village of Boca Grande is home to upscale accommodation options, boutiques, unique shops, villas and art galleries that present the works of local artists.
Fine restaurants in Boca Grande offer fresh local seafood, as well as international cuisine. Called “Florida's version of Nantucket,” it is a carefully preserved town filled with all the beauty and grace of “Old Florida.” Most vacation rental and villa rental options reflect the splendid atmosphere of this island town.
